Your title somewhat conflicts with your opening post. 'Best religion' would take into account a variety of possible factors and be open to debate. Your question "Which God, gods, or lack thereof will reign supreme?" however, leaves no room for discussion. The answer is clear and straight forward: the one with the most followers/disciples/faithfuls/devotees. Numbers dictate the strength of any group, both physically and 'spiritually'.

Religion is losing its influence in many of the Western nations. Christianity has lost its influence in the European Union (perhaps with the exception to Italy and the Eastern nations such as Poland). The remaining strongholds of religion are in the third world nations, such as Pakistan, Somalia, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. When these countries develop, religion will lose its importance there as well.

Even though i don't believe in any religion, if i ever did, i would go for buddhism. It seems it is the most harmless one and there aren't many (or any) shit ideas in that one, in contrast to islam, christianity and judaism.

To be fair, Christianity was the same way until 100 years ago... killing gays, atheists, american indians, witches, blacks, etc...

But whenever you are thief .... people do not have mercy and burn him alive, except that often the police provides assistance to the thief.

I was close to death, has an accident and got stuck in the car could only move my head, but the rest of my body not moving. The gas tank broke up and started pouring and that same hour had fire near the car and some children who were trapped inside the car. I thought, I will die. time really started crying because my body is not moved and everyone was very hurt and some unconscious, but had a lot of healthy people around us, people who lived in that area was limited to just watch me and others who suffer accidents die.

Someone good heart stopped his car and provided aid, was thanks to that person that no one died, but one month after the accident I knew that area people believe much in witchcraft and that does not help us because our car hit the tree that the natives consider to be sacred tree.

See that who told them that that tree was sacred was a healer (a man equal to all of us)
