I dont think religion is the big issue and whats the best religion. As long there is respect to each other beliefs, respect on others form of faith. All is well if others will respect on what religion they are in.

In general, it is considered that God is one and only every people has its own approach and worship to it. Therefore, we have many religions. Therefore, it is correct to say that there is one faith, with different approaches.

After all it's all about being a good person, kind to others, bringing people happiness and joy.
That's what's "God" is about and that's the only way to be trully happy.

Not the one which is best religion, what should we do is respect each other.

I'm an apostolic Christian and I will agree on this. Whatever religion you belong as long as you know how to respect people, that's humanity.

But when it comes to salvation that will be a long talk and I don't want to start that here.

Because there are people who belongs to a good religion but they had a very bad attitude and thoughts, so their religion is nothing.

Whoever started this poll is very stupid and immature. Why would anyone rate religions good, better or best? I am a Christian and I cannnot assure myself  that I am going to heaven because I chose this religion. It still depends on how you treat others and how you live your life in this world and that's what count. Even we all have different term for Gods , I know that it's just the same.

Religion just like selecting a girlfriend or a wife can be a very subjective thing. We all want to belong and in many cases we just follow along as many of have been born into the religion which our parents and even grandparents got into. Partly, we never chose so we just follow what can be available for us.

Religion if not understood well and if not practiced right can be a big source of division and strife. Millions had died due to religious-in-nature wars and chaos. Humanity since time immemorial used religion in the wrong way. We think that we can use religion to oppress other people and to kill those who are not in agreement with us.

There are some religions which offer eternal life after death, which leads to peace, complementing spiritual needs, and to unify differences, I am happy with this.

But I see every religion has flaws in various versions of the sect apart, so this loophole exploited other religions to ruin in order to introduce their own religion, this is what I call propaganda.

Religion is a life choice, the truth about karma, heaven and hell are pure inner satisfaction of each individual, if there are some religions that claim the most nice and considers other religions obviously go to hell, they don't think people are born into this world from various ethnic groups, whether those born to the life of a particular religion will go to hell without being given a chance such as the other religions teach? it is irrational selfishness.

However I still sympathy, religion is better than not believing in gods, spiritual emptiness will never produce long-term happiness.

The fact that religion is very strong has influence not only on one person, but also on the large masses of the people, this is unequivocal. But the choice of a man always suits differently. There are so much crap in this world that lots of people get cut up in the middle of this turmoil, in some kind of eternal unanswered loop, looking for a path that isn't there. The more i study this, the more i talk to people, more and more i come up with the conclusion that everything is so simple, it might drive you away. To keep oneself from being polluted by the world, all you have to consider is: do to others what you would do to yourself.

It seems like the male/female ratio is gonna be a bit off with this... can I get a guarantee all 72 of mine will be female?

Also, 72 sounds like a lot... but if I only go through 1 a month... I'll be out of virgins after only 6 years, leaving me with no virgins for 999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999...993 years

Atheists like their religion the best. Yet all they get after death is a spot in the ground, and not even this much if they are cremated. Is that all they want? I should think a person would want something so that he has a little more hope in it than that.

That's part of my point. Every knowledgeable atheist knows that he doesn't have enough knowledge to factually and truthfully say that God DOESN'T exist in some way that he hasn't seen.

The atheist might see through loads of false beliefs of other religions. But if he can't see that he barely has any knowledge at all (when compared with the knowledge that exists), how can he say with confidence that God isn't "hiding" among some of the things that he doesn't know?

The atheist might have strong FEELINGS that God doesn't exist. But isn't that the way theists feel about God and their religions? So, the atheist simply has another religion... and one that has as its best hope, a hole in the ground with worms eating what's left of his flesh. If I am going to have a religion, I certainly would like to feel more hopeful about it than that.

If an atheist can actually prove that no God exists, then he doesn't have a religion. Then he has knowledge. But to prove such, the atheist would need a lot more knowledge than anybody has. However, both science and nature prove and show that God exists; atheists don't have a rebuttal for these laws of science, even though they try:

Atheist and Agnostic are not mutually exclusive as they answer different questions...

Gnosticism deals with knowledge... what you know is true... everyone is agnostic (unless they are a fool or liar)

Theism deals with belief... what you believe is true... this is a personal choice (for some are able to believe things which are not true)...

Personally, I cannot intentionally believe things which are not true, so I am an atheist

The point wasn't a comparison of atheism and agnosticism. The point was that atheists are either very ignorant about their atheism and like it that way, or they are liars... and probably both.

Again, why are atheists liars? Because they know that they don't have enough knowledge about the workings of the universe to know that God doesn't exist. This makes them to be liars when they adamantly proclaim that God doesn't exist, knowing that they don't know that what they proclaim is the truth.

If the atheist admitted that he doesn't know for sure that God doesn't exist - because he doesn't know enough about the universe to be sure God doesn't exist somehow somewhere - then he would be neither liar nor atheist.

Since you respond to my posts on occasion, you admit that you take willing, active part in looking at my posts. The same with everyone else who looks at my posts. If they don't want to look, all they have to do is look elsewhere when they see my handle... and place me on "ignore" so they don't even see my posts directly.

If one religion says do not kill, and another religion says to kill, how can people of these respective religions respect the other religion? If you want to change your religion, go ahead. But don't respect a religion that is against your religion. Why not? Because if you do, your religion isn't the religion that you think it is.

Respect the people of the other religion, simply because they are people. Don't respect their religion. And if they force themselves or their religion on you, respect them enough to stand up and fight for your religious beliefs, not only to protect yourself and your religion, but also to show them that you are sincere about your beliefs, and that they should convert to your religion. Do this because you respect them as people.

The reason why people don't respect others beliefs is due to the clergy, who tell the adherents that those who belong to the other religions are bad. The religious leaders are responsible for 99% of the violence in this world.

I don't understand why people bash other people's religion, it's just like what other religion does, to unite and do good to others. Something along those lines, probably. I don't know, I'm Catholic and I respect other people's religion and somehow curious on what they do, but I don't want to say something that could be a disgrace to them or something like that. The aim of religion is sometimes to be better, a better person for the world and to which God you believe in.
