Poll: Which religion is the best religion?

I would even count the Buddhists as non-religious...

They don't really push their beliefs on people, make religious laws, kill gays, etc...

I can't recall a Buddhist ever shooting up a night club, abortion clinic, or movie theatre

Most of the Buddhists are peaceful. But there are some fringe groups, which cause trouble every now and then. Examples are the Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) of Sri Lanka and the 969 movement of Myanmar. But in general, they have a very tolerant view of other religions, and homosexuals. I would classify the religions to three:

1. Business minded religions: Christianity, Islam, Sikhism, Bahaism, and Judaism
2. Ancient religions: Zoroastrianism, Animism, Shamanism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Shintoism, Chinese traditional religion.etc
3. Irreligion: Atheism, Agnosticism, Non-religion.etc.

Look around the world and into the sky at night. There aren't one or two blades of grass. There aren't only a handful of mice. There are trees all over the place. And there are billions of people - would be more if we didn't kill ourselves off all the time.

The point is that when God made this stuff, He didn't simply diddle around. He made everything in abundance, including the stars.

When mankind sinned (which they continue to do all the time, worse and worse), and brought death and destruction into the universe, God wanted to save mankind. Why? Because God can make all the grass, the trees, the mice, and the stars that He wants anytime. But God gave each soul an individuality of the kind that He can't remake. He did it by giving each human being a unique touch of Himself.

When you want to save people (because you can't remake even one of them) you need to go about it in a business-like fashion, just like you do other kinds of business. That's what Christianity does. And Judaism would be the same if the Jews only understood that Jesus was the Messiah.

All other religions are for this life, or are false. Christianity is forever, even if many of the Christians are fake Christians, and are simply out to get money.

No religion is the best religion!
All religions should be considered equal as they are all equal.
They all have similar beliefs of things such as a dislike to greed and an enjoyment of life and promotion of life after death.

If your religion calls to kill non-believers, apostates,  gays, unfaithful women, then it is not the best religion for majority of people.

Maybe not the best religion, but a good one. Why? Because these people - "non-believers, apostates,  gays, unfaithful women," etc. - are essentially dead already... except if they happen to change from their wicked ways. So, it's in the best interest to all the righteous people to get rid of them before they pollute the land with their unrighteousness, and bring down the wrath of God on us all.

In my opinion it is one of the smartest guys I've seen here in the forum, that is why I want to ask you the following:

You believe in God? and if you believe, why reason believe in God?

Almost much I read the Bible does not make sense, for example now you said this:

No religion is better unless you think so.
Most people are devoted followers of their own religion. They refuse to  accept any religion to be claimed better than theirs.
Some people follow other religions finding flaws in their own. They are more radical than blind sheep.
Some overcome this beliefs created by ancestors. They become atheists or agnostics. They are the ones who can't be blamed during holy crusades and wars.
Respect each other, stop classifying.

Be careful with your line of thinking.  You are an inch from becoming a terrorist yourself.  Calling for genocide publicly can get you in hot waters
with the FBI.

The frog in the kettle is what is happening to people with their whole lives. Live a life that is against God and righteousness, and you will die the eternal death in your life of almost 100 years or so. But you won't even realize it is happening, as the heat under the kettle is gradually turned up.

What this means is that the religion of complacency is destroying far more people than any religion of violence could ever think of doing.

God tells us that it is not for us to know when.

When you die is when you are locked into your eternal position. Why? Because you cannot change after you are dead.

When God awakens you from the dead, it will be time for the judgement. Your placement in Heaven or Hell will be carried out, based on your relationship with God at the time of your death.

Note that you might consider yourself a godly person. Yet God is the one who judges accurately. So, strive continually to be the person that God wants you to be.

For me the best religion is christian catholic. It is the best religion for me just simple because I believe to what their bible says and it is not just something that is made by some people. I think the bible really are words of God and well some religions based their bible to the christian catholic religion.

You are wrong. The directives for people are to NOT be murderers. The directives for ancient Israel are for them. Past directives are not for today except if they say they are. Either you have not read with understanding, or else you are simply trying to make God look bad.

Make sure you read ALL of it.  The OLD and NEW Testament since both are word of God (father and son).  Don't cherry pick, if you do, GOD will punish you in after life.  Not

God is One God. There are 3 distinct Persons in that One God. Difficult to understand. Like one corporation with many directors.

The best religion can't be have by just having your own personal opinon, it is determined with a result that happens all over the world, if you're likely to see peace on that specific religion then that's not the best. I think the best religion is non-religion because most religions has this hypocritic belief that's written on their book. I prefer atheism as it doesn't promote hate and discrimination.

The question like what you guys just said is actually irrelevant for religion on its own is very relative. True how the best religion is different with each and everyone.
