Lando lost the race in the 1st turn today, not because he lost the position to Max but her went behind Russell and he lost so much time behind him.

Ferrari can leave this car and already thinking about next year.

And soon the war between Lecler and Sainz will start...

Yeah...  McLaren is looking like they have the best car as the season rolls along.  But they need a good driver to handle it.  I think Sainz could be a good second driver for them.  Dunno about you guys tho.

Finally, the announcement about Marco Bezzecchi joining the Aprilia factory next season was officially announced today and I think this will be very good for Marco Bezzecchi's rider. The Spanish GP was an enjoyable race, won by Max Verstappen. Verstappen was on his game again and drove faultlessly. Redbull are no longer the clear frontrunners and McLaren have almost caught them. Mercedes and Ferrari are not far behind. The drivers and their strategies determined the outcome of the race. Norris gave the race to Verstappen because he followed a different strategy. Norris lost a race he could have won again after Imola and the Canadian GP. Mercedes seems to have replaced Ferrari and at this rate Ferrari will remember the Monaco GP as their last win.

Alpine would be the perfect destination for Sainz or any other driver who needs a seat as there are words going around that Ocon and Gasly aren't the best of friends anymore.  Lol.  Rumor says it's one about a girl.

As for this weekend's quali, there could be value on either McLaren to get pole at 3.75.  It's really starting to look like they have the better car this year.

It looks like Red Bull did some stuff better, don't know if they brought in a new upgrade or if it was just the practice allowing them to adjust wings better or what.

However, we still saw Norris do well, he was getting closer and closer, the fact is that Max still won of course and Max will be the champion of course, but that doesn't change the fact that we are seeing Norris get better, if they keep this going for a while then I could assume that maybe we are going to end up with Norris getting the title next season instead? That wouldn't be the most unheard of thing ever, it would be quite normal and I would assume that it would be something that we could totally see as a possibility. We need to make that work somehow.

According to google we will have rain during all the week in Austria.
The race is quite short but is very fun to watch with only 1 point for overtakes but a lot of overtakes.

I kinda like shorter tracks over longer tracks, cars will always someone near so they will all have halo effect to go faster.

The character of the Aprilia motorbike could be quite suitable for Marco Bezzecchi because Aprilia motorbikes are not as wild as Ducati motorbikes in general and Marco Bezzecchi in general can also provide input as good feedback for the Aprilia factory which he has received from the VR46 Racing team during his career. Oh, nice to hear that. Gasly definitely deserves it because of his competitive nature and "knowing his limits" also. The quoted part is for Ocon especially.    Because he just doesn't know his limits at all. We all know what he did in Monaco GP against his teammate. This also affected him to lose his seat at Alpine after this season.

Gasly is really ambitious however Alpine should give him a better car at the same time. It is getting better lately though as we saw Alpines in top 10 for the last 3 races.

His Red Bull times come to my mind. He is more experienced now. I'm confident he would do much better than Perez.

The guy who should try harder to be quick this weekend is Daniel Ricciardo if he really wants the second drive at Red Bull.  If there's a spot to convince Horner and Marko, it's here.  I don't feel the same for Tsunoda as the reason he went to Alpha Tauri or whatever they're called these days is because of the partnership with Honda.  But that's a goner in a couple of years.  So yeah...  Tsunoda prolly a goner too on 2026 or prolly next year?

Great pace for Max Verstappen with an advantage of 0.2 sec in the 1st hour.
Verstappen also caused a red flag during the 1sat hour of the session but his car got no damage and Redbull ound the sensor problem that got the car stopped.

As again Lando is the nearest rival, in his best lap he also did a mistake or it could be closer or ahead of Max in his best lap.

It was very bad that Lando finished FP1 by finishing in P13, if only he didn't make mistakes, he could definitely get a good position, but he couldn't achieve that. Hopefully in FP2 he can improve his performance and get a good position, because to be honest I hope that at least Lando or Charles can beat Max on the Red Bull home circuit (even though that chance is quite small lol).

After watching FP1 and the MotoGp TT Assen Practice session today in very sunny weather conditions, I think tomorrow's Sprint and qualifying will be very exciting and even the competition on Sunday could also be very fierce in a full race. The Assen circuit is a very technical circuit and also requires quite a lot of braking apart from requiring better balance on the motorbike and I believe that the front row will be dominated by Ducati even though Aprilia could also be a threat to them in Sunday's race.

What a disaster for Ferrari and Leclerc but it was an unlucky moment.
Tomorrow it will be a fun race since you can overtake on this track.

Fun stat, Max now has more pole position in pole sprint than all the other drives combined.

Lando may have a shot Sunday but idk about tomorrow.
