Finally I can see MotoGP after so many months of being quite bored. Yes Joan Mir and Martin surprised me today. I don't look up to them. I thought Quartararo would win again, but seeing the Gap with Martin he is quite far. The closest are Martin and Mir if I'm not mistaken he is only 1.5 seconds gap. Good thing I didn't bet. Then Rossi also performed quite well. At least before retiring he was still fighting. Maybe being able to get on the podium will bring sweet memories for retirement later.

Got this from a friend... There’s a conspiracy theory going around that the real reason Vettel got disqualified was because he disprespected the Hungarian government for wearing the rainbow mask signifying support for LGBT. Hungary is known to be anti gay and ultra conservative. Plausible theory?

Does any of you follow IndyCar? Remember Marcus Ericsson from F1? Yesterday he won race, despite this crash that he made and dropped to last position after it: https://twitter.com/IndyCaronNBC/status/1424491053701378053''I think Ericsson hit us'' reached new level . At least he didn't hit Grosjean this time Maybe I missed something, but I think he didn't even got penalty for this crash. And there was more safety car on trac than actual racing, so, it did flavor for Ericsson. Got this from a friend... That's serious conspiracy theory. I don't believe that they would go that far

Don't think so, the data is shared between FIA and Aston Martin. It can't be a conspirency since the team knows how much fuel they have left and they never said "we have more than 1 liter".

Formula One stewards on Monday rejected Aston Martin's appeal against the decision to exclude German driver Sebastian Vettel from the Hungarian Grand Prix, which caused Mercedes' British driver Lewis Hamilton to extend his championship lead by eight points.
Supervisors said after a video hearing that Aston Martin discovered a faulty fuel system that caused the problem. By that fault they lost the amount of fuel needed to be higher then 1Liter.

By staying on the podium, his points will still have quite a difference. Oh, I see, this means Martin still going to favorite, that was his track now. Look like Quartararo hopes the games create a new champion If he still wants to be the no.1. that is not enough, he should not be on the podium only but he should be no.1 every circuit until the last. Then Rossi also performed quite well. At least before retiring he was still fighting. Maybe being able to get on the podium will bring sweet memories for retirement later.
Oh, I just forgot that popular person, Rossi. I don't remember when he was on the podium , he going to retire. maybe, He only race for fun, I don't see the motivation and spirit from him, different from Marquez, he was always on fire with full spirit every race, Rossi Era was over.

As the result Styria doesn't change Quartararo's position, he was still on no.1 top rank. 40 points left from Zarco and 51 points left from Joan Mir on 3rd position. Quartararo not showing a disappointed face after the race, he was still happy, I saw his behavior when getting a conversation with the reporter and Mir. then, If the next week still has a new winner, Quartararo's position is safe, that's what he wants, he has minimal on podium whatever position in 2 or 3.
Quartararo managed to climb to the third podium in stryia, this is certainly a good thing for Quartararo to maintain the standings with Bagnia and Zarco who are currently in an unstable condition, thus giving Quartararo the opportunity to lift the trophy in this season's race, and on the other hand for next Sunday's race I am very sure Quartararo will do his best to be at the forefront, he is one crazy racer and has a strong mentality.

I'm also not sure that next week's race Rokie Martin will again get a front finish, because if we look at the victory that Rokie Martin won at the Styria circuit yesterday because he was lucky to get the first pole position while doing Stard, with this victory of course being Rokie Martin's first victory at the Styria circuit since being in the MotoGP class. Congratulations to Rokie Martin for making it to the podium.

It was really good to see MotoGP again, and Rossi had a good performance where an increase could still be possible, possibly in the top 10. When asked what could change his mind to race next year, if I'm world champion I'll race another season and he laughed.

I find it surprising that Mercedes doesn't even try to have a German driver.
But do they have a someone great in their academy right now ? I don't know why Mercedes doesn't have a german pilot but I know for sure they can't take Mick right now as he is destined to drive at Ferrari at some point. Regarding Stroll to Mercedes ...that is not possible anymore as Aston Marton develops around him right now so he won't leave anytime soon or anytime at all. Regarding Mick, yes it is a good "story" for him to drive Ferrari one day, but if Mercedes wants to, they could afford to get him whenever they want to, but Mercedes became a bit more "British" then German thanks to Lewis Hamilton, British people root for that team more than Germans at this point because of him, and they do not feel that need. Look at how George Russell is getting primed to race with Hamilton after Bottas is fired, that is two British drivers all together. I honestly think that we should take that as a sign that Mercedes do not have any interest at Mick at all. If they however actually wanted him? They could have just paid him more money and get him anyway. Stroll's dad is very rich, it is not about Aston Martin being built around him, if Daddy Stroll paid Mercedes a ton of money, he could get him in there. Mercedes in its current form is not a completely classic factory team. Toto Wolf has his own share of shares in the team and there are also British co-owners who also have a very big influence. If earlier Daimler owned 60 percent of the team, and Wolf had 30 percent, then in December 2020, the British chemical giant INEOS increased its share in the team and now each of the parties owns 33.3 percent. And the British co-owners came to the team precisely because of the presence of Lewis Hamilton in the team and they will certainly be happy if Russell comes to the team. And Mick Schumacher should continue to strive for Ferrari in the near future, because Mercedes ' immediate plans seem to be clearly planned. Thanks, I hadn't followed that ownership evolution, that makes sense. Williams is a British team, now there is Aston Martin, a British car brand, McLaren is British, most teams are based in the UK...it's a bit too much in my opinion. As for Mick, all drivers dream of a Ferrari drive, even if they can do without (like Lewis), I don't think he's entitled to one. Ferrari has a good duo right now, 2 young drivers, it could stay like that for years, unless Ferrari stays uncompetitive and one of them leaves.

There is not an either/or situation in that case. For example let's say that he actually did break the rule and do not have fuel left under the certain limit, but that could have been ignored if he was respectful? I mean I am not sure, I am just guessing at this point. However it is obvious that you do not have to really respect the government for each place you race, they also race in other places where LGBT is not very much liked, hell even in Europe not everywhere likes them a lot, and in that case we are talking about basically just a situation where drivers can do whatever they want, and the government can't meddle with FIA or they will be banned from participating and FIA can easily pick another track, why would they care about one track when they can pick another in a single day? So governments can't meddle with fear of losing the race rights.

Ferrari has a good duo right now, 2 young drivers, it could stay like that for years, unless Ferrari stays uncompetitive and one of them leaves. yeah currently Ferrari is belleiving in their Leclerc-Sainz duo, Schumacher needs to develop little bit more and I don’t think he will do a jump from Haas to Ferrari directly he will need to do a jump a middle class team unless he stays at Haas next year and he will probably does and somehow Haas do better next year with the new car. Unlike this season they are embarrassing having 3s+ gap between them and leaders on not even that long of a track. Mick have to stuck up with Haas atleast one more year and show us what he can do with a slow car. Just like Russell he is going on his 3rd year with Williams and he has shown himself as a good driver and now he is groomed to take over Bottas spot. The problem for Mick is that unlike Russel situation Ferrari is currently happy with the drivers they got. So that's why he wouldn't move to Ferrari atleast for two to three more seasons it will all depend on his Performance and one of Ferrari main Drivers have been underperforming.

At last week's race if you remember Quartararao was penalized so he had to start in 3rd position. Luckily, Quartararo was still able to maintain his rank to stay on the podium. Martin was lucky, apart from having a fast bike he had a good start so he could win. Quartararo doesn't have a fast bike like a Ducati or a KTM, but if he starts at the front it might be in his favour. I think next week he will still be serious about winning.

I highly doubt that this was the reason why he got disqualified, because fans all across the globe would have protested against it. Also I feel we should not fuel such wild theory’s, because there will be people who’ll believe this and spread unnecessary rumours which will further complicate this situation.

The government of a country has no direct power over the FIA, there is absolutely no way Orban could do anything to Vettel. And if he tried, the backlash would be immense, not just from the FIA but from the EU. Finally european money would be cut.

I don't think Fabio can really fight for the win, the Yamaha clearly has too little top speed and the RedBull Ring is the track with the most full throttle in the season. Winning races is over-rated. Of course it's the goal and everybody wants to win each and every race, but when it comes to the championship consistency is far more important. Look at Zarco, for example: He's second in the standings, only 40 point behind Quartararo, and yet he hasn't won a single race all season. Two DNFs for Quartararo along with second place finishes for Zarco and they would be tied. As for the Yamaha's speed, the Red Bull Ring is not likely to cater to the bike's strengths. The Yamaha is probably the fastest cornering bike on the circuit, but certainly not the top speed contender. As long as Quartararo can finish in the top 5 he's only adding to his lead and keeping the rest of the field playing catch-up.

This discussion should probably be taking place in the Politics and Society board. I will say this, however; the Woke Brigaded have declared war on Hungary (one of the last truly conservative countries in the EU,) and this is just another excuse to vilify their enemy.

Oh, I just forgot that popular person, Rossi. I don't remember when he was on the podium , he going to retire. maybe, He only race for fun, I don't see the motivation and spirit from him, different from Marquez, he was always on fire with full spirit every race, Rossi Era was over. Maybe you like Quartararo too much that you forget the legend who is still competing. I'm a Rossi fan so I'm still watching him. Even though he has announced his retirement at the end of the year I think he will struggle to keep his target on the podium. But I know he has realized that he is older than me, so he knows that it is time for him to retire. For marquez, he has to be like that. His career is still quite long. He can still compete with other racers.

yeah currently Ferrari is belleiving in their Leclerc-Sainz duo, Schumacher needs to develop little bit more and I don’t think he will do a jump from Haas to Ferrari directly he will need to do a jump a middle class team unless he stays at Haas next year and he will probably does and somehow Haas do better next year with the new car.
Yes, if there were some questions about Leclerc in the first part of the season, then at the present time the situation seems to have improved and I also see no reason for Ferrari to change its composition of drivers at this time. Next year there will be a change in the technical regulations and for many teams that are not in the top, this is a great chance to catch up with the leaders or even break out to the first roles. As we know, Haas has generally announced that he is throwing all his energy and financial resources into the development of the next season's car, which has put Haas ' drivers on a difficult fate this season and the last places, but giving hope for the next season. Therefore, Mick Schumacher should not rush and should clearly follow what Ferrari recommends. I think that Ferrari will not abandon him and will continue to follow him and help him in his career.

That is correct, his pole time was cancelled by a track limit. Quartararo gets everything out of the Yamaha and must always ride on the limit, but overtaking is very difficult with the Yamaha because you have to be very late on the brakes. I think I remember that he was very happy with his 3rd place in the race, he said on this track is simply not more possible with the Yamaha. Will be another exciting race I think, with favorite Ducati.
