FP3 done. Can Ferrari really fight for the pole position?

I think not but I will be very happy if they can.

It would be very nice if 3 teams could fight for pole position today, but in reality it will be again that only RedBull and Mercedes can fight for pole position. As a fan from Kimi, I noticed that Kimi is very good again in Monaco, it's not just the car that matters in Monaco, so I'm looking forward to Alonso?

Leclerc on the steps Mike Michael Schumacher at 2006 also with Ferrari 😂😂. Nevertheless, Ferrari is doing easier in Monaco with the shorter wheelbase than Mercedes with the longer one, it also looks like Alfo Romeo could score the first World Championship points tomorrow.

If Leclerc can come out from the first corner first then it is going to not be a difficult race to win for him if the race happen under normal conditions and Ferrari mechanics do not screw up during the pit stops.I wonder why Mercedes and Hamilton is so behind in the grid at 7th place,probably because the engine power is not needed that much during this track as the top speed is real slow compared to every other track.By the lineups for tomorrow looks like it is going to be a good race to watch on Tv as is the case most of the time for a Monaco F1 race.

Read the news about Ducati. The Ducati boss hopes to be able to field 8 motorbikes in the 2022 season. With 5 factory bikes and 3 stelit teams. This may be a good sign for the VR46 which is ready to appear next season, because until now there has been no official news that the VR46 will use which motorbike from which manufacturer. The Ducati boss also explained that the news that the VR46 was officially collaborating with ducati was false news. Everything is still in process.

Yeah but was the sector where Redbull was faster, it was close.
Also, Sainz was very fast too he could overtake the Leclerc time too.

Anyway told you, Ferrari is supercompetitive with high traction tracks, sadly there are not a lot of them in the calendar.

I do not think that he would hit knowingly He was also doing very well too I mean at the very worst he would be top three for sure, most probably only person that can beat him could be Max and nobody else. The great thing about this one is that Hamilton is at 7th and we all know how much of a great racer he is so I am sure he will finish above 7th somehow even on Monaco and his car is much much better than anyone else so he will probably finish top 3 once again even though we talked about how Monaco is a very hard place to pass someone.

However I feel like in a track like Monaco unless some major deal happens, Hamilton most probably will not win this race, just from the results of the qualifiers I can say that 90%+ chance Hamilton doesn't win this race, and there is a 50% chance he may not even finish at the top three this time as well. That is a relief, I was bored of him constantly winning and Monaco is rarely a good race to watch so this will probably be more entertaining now.

I think there is no chance that he did it on purpose. It would be just stupid. He seriously dmaged his car and if gearbox change will be needed, he will receive grid penalty. We all know what it means in Monaco.
Tomorrow I expect one of the most interesting race in Monaco in recent years. It will be interesting waht Hamilton is able to do starting just 7th in track where overtaking is almost impossible.

Yes, you are right. Verstappen wasn't going to make it to the pole position most probably. I'm happy to see that Leclerc has got it. But I hope also that he doesn't have problems with his gearbox again. As you remember, he had the problem in the first practice session and was able to complete only 4 laps.

He will probably have no problems Ferrari said "we will think this night if we need to change the gearbox".
I think but I'm not sure if they change it he should have no penalities since we are still at the start of the season and they have the "free changes".

I do not think that the accident occurred as a result of the insidious plan of Ferrari and personally Leclerc himself and is just a coincidence, but this result is most beneficial for Verstappen, who could hardly contain a happy smile after the end of qualifying and the Red Bull team itself was so excited, as if Red Bull itself won qualifying. i guess tomorrow we will see for the first time this season Hamilton not taking the Podium.
Vertsappen will be the my favorite to win Monaco.

I usually watch all races in a season, but I am often tempted to skip Monaco as it's basically a two-hour procession with the pit stop the only real oppportunity to change position.
But this year Hamilton's poor performance in qualifying does add an extra dimension. He starts from seventh, but it seems unlikely he'll finish seventh, even on a track where overtaking is next to impossible. I think he'll either get a podium place or else crash out trying some outrageous overtake.

I've already read that, but I don't think Rossi wants B spec bikes for the team. I don't know how big the tendency towards Ducati is, I only read once that Petronas is also in conversation with Ducati and Suzuki because Rossi wants Yamaha for the VR46 team, but Yamaha doesn't want to build 6 bikes. Would be weird, of course, since Rossi is currently driving at petronas ...

This is the official statement from Ferrari so I'm guessing if they had to change the gearbox he was under penalty  even if they are under the "free changes"

Rossi just able to resign from petronas and the rumor say he want to joining to his team VR46. But I won't make the speculation until the next summer. About the issue, Ducati motor has the best peformance this year; Francesco Bagnaia, Johann Zarco and Jack Miller. I'm still doubt rossi want to leave yamaha sponsor to ducati or Rossi just change the motor into ducati manufactures?.

But looking at the replay of the accident it is pretty obvious that this crash was not intended at all at those high speeds. It is still pretty sad and disappointing for verstappen and bottas though understandably. If leclerc can stay in first position until after the first corner than he will probably win the race.

I always wonder why monaco is considered as the highlight of the racing season, it's the most boring race of them all. I mean of course the location is cool and the track is challenging for the drivers and the qualifying is exciting, but in the end the race is the highlight of a race weekend and the race is just boring in monaco.

Yes, it definitely looked like an accident. If he was going to crash the car deliberately, then he'd have made it so there was just a bit of superficial damage, easy to repair but enough to stop qualifying... which other drivers have done before. But this one, no, it looked genuine.

Yes. It sometimes gets interesting if there's some rain, but really the only chance of overtaking is the pit stops. You would imagine Mercedes will go long with Hamilton today, so that he can get into some clean air when the others stop, and Mercedes can go for the overcut. But of course he has no real chance of winning, it's just damage limitation.
