Binotto released an interview this week and he said Ferrari will come with a new step for the engine, which is a step for the 2022 new engine.
The step will not the last one and it will be a huge boost in power according to him.

The engine will come from Monza.

I'm not going into technical but the Ferrari engine for 2022 will be a revolution for Ferrari, let's wait Monza.

Of course he says that because he wants to create some form of excitement for the next season and if i remember correctly he basically said that before every season and we all know how boring the last few F1 seasons were. This season red bull came pretty close, but the main reason for that is probably that mercedes already puts a lot of effort into the car of next year and not so much into this years car. Red Bull on the other hand invested more into this years car and that is probably the reason why they are closer now. So it is also possible that mercedes is much further ahead next season then this one. Of course there are big changes to the car in the next season but that doesn't mean every team starts at 0 again.

I was surprised Quartararo was able to set a new lap record on the Yamaha at the Australian ring (short-lived as it was.)  That's quite impressive, and definitely a highlight for the Yamaha team after some drama this week.   Looks highly unlikely that Viñales will ever ride a Yamaha again.  I wonder if there's any truth to the claims that he deliberately caused the bike to malfunction last weekend.

Now back to that short-lived lap record at the Red Bull Ring, where the hell did this young kid, Jorge Martin come from?  Last week's win was impressive, but looked like a fluke of sorts and I didn't put a lot of thought into it.  Now he's taken pole two weeks in a row, and looks good to take the win tomorrow.  It'll be interesting to if he climbs the standings and over-takes the factory Ducati riders.

There are still two weeks to the next F1 race in Spa, Belgium. I feel really sad when it's the weekend and I see there is no race.    I hope that the time goes on really fast and we skip to the race directly. Because I think that we are going to see an incredible race in Spa. This track is just awesome and I think that it's one of the best tracks for most of F1 spectators.

Martin is still on the first grid atm, followed by Quartararo behind and Bagnaia, Possible Martin will get the win tonight because the red bull ring is his track and of course straight track is suitable for Ducati. when I look at stand, Ducati domination on the grid either.

It's starting to rain a few drops, everyone it frantically changing to softer tires now.  If it's a wet race look for Miller and the Marquez brothers to make some moves.  Marc has gone with the soft compound on the rear, he's expecting a damp track.

Seeing how Bagnaia, Marquez and Quartararo fought fiercely to be in first place, it looks like it will be exciting. Unfortunately, none of them took first place in the fight, even KTM driver Brad Binder won. Rossi was also lucky he finished in eighth position.

Quartararo still managed to extend his championship lead to 47 points ahead of second place.  It was a frustrating last two laps for him and Marquez, I'm sure.  The rest of the field was tip-toeing around the track on slicks, so they chose to gamble a pit stop.  In retrospect it appears that was the wrong decision.

It was an exciting race, none the less.  For a minute there it looked like Rossi had a podium spot after the leaders took to pit row.  Congrats to Binder on the win, fortune favors the brave, I guess.

yeah next season I think we will see some chaos in the start of the season the championship will be wide open.
But the Power Unit where Mercedes currently have some advantages over the other teams could stay as most of the technology will stay tge same other then Ferrari who will be doing a different system(split turbo system)then most of the other cars as they will try to maximise the power of combustion in the combustion chamber.
So the idea could take them up or bring them down, as for Aero technology that's where the chaos will be the drivers will need time to make adjustments to the car Aero and that's why the competition will open up at the start of the season and whom will be the fastest to get comfortable with the new car will be challenging at the end for the Championship.

I'm almost happy when to see the table Rossi has inside in 3rd position but it's just 1 lap, maybe he slows down to avoid slips, maybe because he doesn't change motorbike (I'm not sure) and in there I see bagnaia racing it fast in 2nd position. About Marquez, I expected he doesn't change the motorbike,  but I'm disappointed he going to the pits and then happens crashes. that moment makes him failed again.

but congrats for the first time, Binder on 1st podium, you are the real gambler with didn't change the motorbike.

Interestingly, Binder's decision not to enter the pit lane to change his motorbike was boldly chosen by Binder and finally made him finish first and be able to survive until the race was over. On the other hand I was very surprised to see bagnaia, after changing his bike, he showed his epic stunts overtaking one by one rider in front of him without the slightest hesitation, thus getting second place.

The rain helped him to finish in better position as well as his decision to not change the bike while some other riders decided to change the bike, but in overall performance, he was not competitive at all. Not because I do not like him, but his performance with his bike in 11 Races does not show that he is competitive enough. He realizes it so he decide to retire at the end of 2021.
