A little happy that Rossi is still able to compete, he performed well today, even he was able to be in 3rd position when several riders changed motorbikes.
The rain helped him to finish in better position as well as his decision to not change the bike while some other riders decided to change the bike, but in overall performance, he was not competitive at all. Not because I do not like him, but his performance with his bike in 11 Races does not show that he is competitive enough. He realizes it so he decide to retire at the end of 2021. That is so correct, he tied his decision to the results in the first half of the year and they were not good enough for him to continue. Basically you have to say that the Yamaha is not competitive, except for Fabio, the Yamaha riders have big problems with the bike or injuries this year. Similar to Marquez and the Honda, only he is not fit enough and the bike is also bad. It is now official, Vinales moves to Aprilia, for him the best. Yamaha and Vinales just does not work. Only now Petronas Yamaha has a big problem, Petronas gets out as a sponsor and no riders for 2022. https://www.motogp.com/en/news/2021/08/16/maverick-vinales-to-race-with-aprilia-in-2022/387024https://www.motorsport.com/motogp/news/petronas-to-withdraw-srt-motogp-title-sponsorship/6646399/

I think what happened in Austria was the impact his dizziness had on Yamaha. Several sources that I read in the local media said that Vinales felt like a stepdaughter. He's just an experimental material for Quartararo's motorcycle. He was forced to use a motorbike that did not match what he had. If he has officially moved on to Aprilia then maybe that's a good move. All racers want to develop if he is not facilitated then in the end he will leave too. Apart from that I also read if their main sponsor also left. This makes all their project development plans change.

For Vinales it's probably the best thing to part with Yamaha, for whatever reason his performance fluctuates and he can't get on with the bike, maybe it's also a mental problem and he can't get on with the pressure from Yamaha? Very good news from Doctor Rossi, is this the real reason for his career ending? The doctor is going to be a father, even though he said in Spielberg that he would like to be a father but not yet, very well said! https://www.italy24news.com/sports/news/92926.html

The next MotoGP grand prix has been cancelled, just like last year. The Malaysian GP in Sepang was finally cancelled and there will be a second home race for Rossi. I think Rossi and the fans will be very happy that there will be another race in Italy in his last season, the upcoming (first official) race in Misano is completely sold out and there is no chance for tickets, maybe at the replacement Grand Prix? https://www.motogp.com/en/news/2021/08/19/malaysian-gp-cancelled-replaced-by-a-grand-prix-at-misano/387180

The GP of Japan of F1 has been canceled and it will be probably not the only one. More GP are at risk especially the ones away from Europe.
In the following weeks, we will have the official new calendar.

Given the epidemiological situation in Japan, which has developed at the present time, this has already been calculated in advance. The outbreak of the epidemic continues in the country, the Olympics were recently held, against which the majority of the country's population was opposed, including because of the epidemic situation, and the Paralympics are now taking place. Therefore, holding another such a large event with the participation of many foreigners clearly looks superfluous. By the way, similar concerns are expressed about the stage in Turkey due to the inclusion of Turkey in the red zone by the United Kingdom. There is also information that Azerbaijan seems to be claiming to host the race instead of the Japanese stage.

Also I hope we don’t see any cancelled races in 2022, because now it’s getting really annoying and I hope the organisers plan out something well for this.

Thank God that we are in a big break right now, they could take this week and speak about which races should happen and which should not be, I get that it is not going to be easy to cancel races this late into the season but they just have to do it if it is going to both be a nightmare to handle all the red tape but at the same time if there is a big problem with the covid numbers in those nations than we should not be considering putting these staff and all those workers at risk as well, racers could handle themselves and isolate easily because they are just 20 people, but the whole circuit becomes a huge thing when you include every worker or even fans.
This is why Japan is a great idea, and Turkey should be considered as well, there is some time until that race, but we should definitely consider it because the numbers do not look that good with 200+ dead every day.

Well most of the people working in F1 are vaccinated by now, they could just race without the public as they did in early 2021 in Europe. The races in the 1st part of the year were without people. Also, the vaccination is doing good in Japan with 50% of people with 1st dose and 40% of people with second dose, according to google.

Also, the vaccination is doing good in Japan with 50% of people with 1st dose and 40% of people with second dose, according to google. They can do that, or they can just try to avoid the whole nation? I mean what is better for you, being vaccinated in a risky area or not even be in a risky area while still being vaccinated? I would rather not be there at all and that seems to be the answer for every single F1 official as well. Teams try to avoid every outbreak they can and Japan has been at the forefront for this summer because of the Olympics, and that is why I understand that they may want to avoid that as a whole. Not like they have no other places to run if they do not want to race there, or they can simply remove as well, or they could even postpone it to the last race, they have so many options to follow if they just cancel it for now. Turkey was cancelled, then readded after things looked good for a while, and now there is a talk of cancelling again, so it is not like it is a final decision whenever they do something.

the next MotoGP in Silverstone circuit England is the next week, but the news it's not around about that game but is still hot about Vinales. As we know Yamaha was removing Vinales from the Yamaha team rather fast because he makes destroy on purpose his motorcycle on styria. And know Vinales doesn't have a team until 2022 because of his contract with Aprilia in 2022. but I heard the rumors Aprilia wants Vinales with the team in the next race (Silverstone circuit England), can this happen?

Grenau Vinales has been officially released, in principle he could already be riding for Aprilia at Silverstone. I'm curious to see who will replace Vinales for the rest of the season? Maybe Crutchlow when Morbidelli is fit again?

Yes, it does seem strange. It probably comes down to the importance of the event. The Olympics was planned for years, and is the biggest sporting event in the world, with vast amounts of money already spent on it, and they felt they couldn't cancel it, even with the risk of increased Covid cases. The grand prix on the other hand is much smaller, and although there is some expense involved it is much less than the Olympics. And also Olympic host nations are scheduled a long time in advance. If Japan cancelled, they might not get another chance for decades. Basically I think the grand prix is more easy to cancel because it is seen as less important.

That is all correct as you write, but it is no longer understandable for me that Grand Prix events are simply cancelled and here in Europe it doesn't matter, even with spectators. The olympic games were also postponed by one year and was no problem and this year they were even held with spectators. The topic of covid is already so worn out and in my opinion no longer dangerous but just an excuse, probably the Grand Prix without spectators would simply be a big minus for the operators.

We are nearly entering the race week in F1. This time, we are in Spa, Belgium. After a summer break which lasts one month, drivers are going to start preparing for the race. Maybe some of them already started, I don't know. I hope to see a better Verstappen in the coming races. He got surprising results in the last races. He just need to pull himself together and focus on the races again. He was really unlucky but there is nothing to do about those races anymore.

I read in the local media that Vinales can race together. But with a note that Aprilia had to throw away one of their drivers to be replaced. It could be Lorenzo Savador but it seems impossible. It looks like Johann Zarco, 2 years ago who broke his contract with KTM. But will it happen? I do not know. Or he will just be a racer for the test or wilcard. But sorry if I misunderstood about this.

Finally the the next weekend we will race again in F1 in what is for me the most legendary track of all F1 and where I have yet to go many years back to find a boring race and yet I can't find one.The track is really long just a bit over 7 Km and is run pretty fast with the gas pedal being pushed 65% of the lap.The drivers have all enjoyed their holidays as we have seen in their instagram official pages, many of them enjoying the sun and the beach for their holidays.I think they are ready now to give us a really beautiful race during the next weekend.

I think this is unlikely to happen, as we already know, Vinales has been announced to be an Aprilia rider in MotoGP 2022, but Massimo Rivola as Aprilia boss wants to see Vinales make his debut in the team as soon as possible, but given the time is short, then most likely Vinales will not will be able to follow the British MotoGP race next week with the Aprilia team.

Also the fact that it was the F1 that decided to withdraw, and not Japan which is the difference. Japan could have said no to Olympics because of the pandemic, but they didn't, but they also didn't say no to Grand Prix neither, they are not saying no to anything because they want people there, because the more people that goes there means more money they can profit as well, that's a great thing for them, it is tourism in a sort of way.
At the end of the day, Olympics decided to go with it and didn't cancel, which is a good thing because they were fine and fun and I liked watching it, but this time around it is the F1 officials that said "if Olympics caused this much trouble then we do not want to be in the middle of that" and left. That's the difference between the two situations, neither had anything to do with Japan making any decisions.

Vinales is allowed to ride for Aprilia only as has already been written, they have to put Savadori on the bench as they say in football. But next week at the next race we will know more. Vinales is a very good rider and was the big hope after Rossi, unfortunately it never worked out, I think he also has a mental problem but maybe Aprilia is better for him with less pressure...! At Zarco was a similar, good rider but the development work was not for him at KTM...
