with latest update and supernode implementation elastic is ready to go mainnet, however it has been recommended to run it on testnet first.. what we are lacking atm is instructions how to setup supernodes and how to run it, so it's been a waiting game until EK provide us those information. then we can start testing, but frankly there is not much to test. EK did splendid job until now so after instruction is available i would recommend we start discussing when are we gonna start go mainnet.

Yes, I can confirm this too - blockchain download stops at height 1399, and reads 3193 blocks left (forever)...

Once adequate testing is finalized there will be more sound reason to speak about mainnet, currently i think we are not there yet. I completely trust EK will give updates when relevant and possible, so let us just keep our patience and wait. No need to call for mainnet every second day...

OK been lurking around src and conf files, actually it's quite easy to become supernode. you just edit ./elastic-core/conf_default/nxt-default.properties

nxt.connectToSupernodes=true

It's old known bug that we all thought is behind us once @EK fixed it. Looks like this bug came back with new version of Elastic. Lets wait for @EK, he is trying to fix it right now.

Scrotum ( nice name btw), I feel your pain ! I've been wishing BTC to dip to $150 range for a while too

I love this project. All I can say as a developer is that it's better to wait for mainnet release that is 100% working without bugs than launching from greediness so you can buy/sell coins.
