EK said we'd have documentation for PR, website, marketing, etc. on the 26th of last month.  There's been no mention of it since.

Please don't forget - these are only the inpatient idiots with no knowledge how hard programming could be, especially because you are doing the core alone. All other who respect your work are sitting here and waiting and DO NOT post every day and ask for a status.

It's a bit like it's much easier to find negative ratings for a product because if it's just good or great most people don't care about sharing.

Just take your time and also take you time off the project to enjoy life (movie, outdoor, car whatever)

Ive been telling these idiots for months to STFU and have some appreciation.

I have pointed to a bit of status update sometimes. My concern has never been for dates. This is how software dev works. It gets to the end, only to find out that more features are necessary. It's basically impossible to estimate time windows for a solution to a problem that has never been solved before.

Software development is constantly up against problems that have never been solved before. That's what makes it so interesting, but also it can be frustrating and hard to manage. Progress is the only thing that is important.

Don't fall into the trap. Dates are a joke in software. Don't let it phase you. I deeply appreciate all the work that EK has done. Coming to this thread over the past year has been a lot of fun for me.

It took me years to zone out from the noise. I have left many positions because of it. Positions where I was welcomed to stay. Hope this doesn't come off as annoying advice. It's just a reference point of my own experience.

Since this is an open source project, the only communication that ultimately matters is between the developers. There are dependencies that need to be discussed. That's fine to happen privately. But that's where a roadmap or status update comes into play. Call it whatever you want. Manage however you want, weekly, bi-weekly.

I think we all know ppl slamming the thread with price speculation and dates are small picture idiots. It's fun to talk about, but it's unneeded noise and pressure. There are other places for that.

The escrow can hold the BTC until the it goes live at which point the funds get released to both parties.

The escrow can hold the BTC until the it goes live at which point the funds get released to both parties.

Yes it's possible, however, the seller is free to redeem XEL and not proceed to the agreed sales because of the price(s) - BTC, and XEL (is listed until then), or other reason(s).
So, the buyer locks funds in escrow without any warranty that the seller will be honest and keep the promise.
