To answer some general questions (we'll get a FAQ up since these seem to come up a lot...)
Where can I get GBT?
Since the sale is over if you did not purchase any please wait until it's being traded on exchanges.

Discord?
It's like Slack. You'll like it, trust me. https://discord.gg/0wRLI5uAyHxScJBD
Reach out to us and join our community. We'll be building up the Discord in the days to come.

Is GBT and GG the same thing?
No. GG is obtained by depositing BTC/cryptocurrencies and is represented in USD value.

Will I receive rewards for my GBT if it's held not on the site?
If it's held on a wallet and you can prove you own the address via message signing, yes. This system will be built into the site in the upcoming days where you can register addresses that you own. For obvious reasons, the same address can only be registered to one account.
If it's held on an exchange, no. The reason is simple - you cannot provide us with an address that holds your funds and prove you own the address as it may be a mix of other peoples GBT as well.

Is our profit % based on total coins, or coins that are registered in GameBet?
It's based on the coins and addresses we know about. We only know about what is held in the on-site wallet and addresses that get registered via proof of ownership.

Is it possible to see the invested balance in some BTC account?
How do we know you are not re-investing with the investments from other members?

You can see all the investments on the ledger. Every night we sell the majority of the bitcoin that has come in during the day. We do this for a few reasons but the main 2 are because, we are offering perks to our investors that actually cost us money our of pocket (steam prepaid cards, steam silver ect) so we must sell right away to cover theses costs. The 2nd reason we sell daily is because we are not gambling on the price of bitcoin. We have expenses and bills to pay and most of them don't take bitcoin as payment. Holding fiat is much safer for us then holding bitcoin is and the last thing we want to happen is for bitcoin to dump $100 and we end up losing 25% on top of what we have to put our for the perks.

Thanks for the great question.

Considering the ICO got you 260 Btc, how much of that did the team already spend?

Also, how much was spent with incentives to get new users and with gambling bonus (prepais cards, steam silver etc).

What is the user aquisition cost at the moment?

Thanks for your time

Is this classified information or you just missed the post?
Still very interested in knowing this info, if possible.

Yes, I'm sorry this is classified at Top Level-8 Secrecy Level. Access denied.
Just kidding.

In regards to user acquisition cost, it's hard to say, since we haven't actively started our hardcore marketing yet (still waiting on UI). Once this is production we'll be keeping investors up to date on how our numbers grow and change.

In regards to what was spent in terms of paying investors for their rewards, I don't have an exact number on this as we have not gone through all the rewards yet. I'll be posting an estimate on this tomorrow.

Betting on esports with crypto's and steam items has never been easier.

How long has the site been up and running? I ask cause I'm already seeing many games with 50-100 gg which I believe is the value of a dollar. In that case even at this really early stage they must be taking revenue in the 1000's of dollars which makes me wonder if I EVER want to sell these coins. I can see as this develops pots becoming thousands even tens of thousands. i hope the new UI doesn't completely change the UI as there is something already very compelling about it....don't over complicate it I hope.

Personally I think they shouldn't move to odds betting like 1/4 4/7 crap as many people are turned off by that kind of thing....seeing the pot and the percentage either side of the bet is far more fun for young gamers I think.

Quick glance math (not guaranteed to be accurate, do your own research)

Excluding steam sales:

To reach $1000 in revenue, $50,000 in bets must be collected.

To reach $1,000,000 in revenue (1m evaluation break even: 10% for 100k @ ico), $50,000,000 in bets must be collected (~120,000 Bitcoins worth) which PrimeDice (most popular and heaviest volume Bitcoin wagering site) just now passed after 3 years.

For people evaluating 5x ico, $250,000,000 (~600,000 Bitcoin) in bets must be placed.

That's not how you valuate a company or coin's which are hugely speculation driven are even harder to determine a value

Satoshi dice for example , when it took in $15 million of bet's , had made $500,000 in profit , had a valuation at the time of $8.9 million .

If you used that as a comparison , you could say , that if gamebet made 15 million in bets and made $500,000 in profits with a house edge of roughly 3.3% then the valuation of the coin would be $890,000 , possibly more considering satoshidice got sold in the same year for $11.5 million , so $1,150,000.

But again this wouldn't be accurate , because the model's are different , the site's offerings are different, the business is different , the coin offer speculatory value or potential loss of value .

anyone could do rough "calculations" against other similar ideas and get either good or bad numbers depending on what they are comparing it to exactly and what assumptions are made beforehand.

Remember if you try to make a valuation of Gamebet you don't base it on the value of the tokens like all crypto  traders tend to. Share price don't forget is based on p/e value. So generally speaking if it takes 15 years which is about average for a stock to earn back the value of the stock then the p/e is 15. If you think like this you will better see the valuation of Gamebet.

This is the point i was making , because it is a cross between a crypto coin / business idea thou , it is hard to get any real precise valuation and is something that hasn't been done much before previously , the whole company/passive income company core being a crypto . Mixed with speculatory chaos into the mix that is rampant in crypto, (could be argued is rampant in traditional stocks as well thou, or just flat out manipulation in their case)

So you can make it look good or bad depending on what criteria you use for the comparison to begin with.

The confirmations has been set quite long at 250. This requires that many input blocks are required on the network to get through the 250 blocks. I would recommend that since the rewards are fixed @ 2.8 coins, that the size of input blocks are less relevant. Size of input blocks by combining are more relevant with rewards that are % based and timing are essencial eg. in the case of hpos/dpos. Therefore, do not combine your input blocks so that there can be many smaller blocks and the chain do not get stuck in limbo while waiting for 250 confirmations. Only combine when the input blocks become very small. Especially since a percentage of the money supply will be on exchanges and another percentage might not be staking, leaving only the remainder staking and having to make the chain tick over.

Interesting coin, too bad you're putting forwards games screenshots and artworks to attrack more players without having access to their APi or even having a partnerships with yet I assume ?

So this coin is a gaming clan coin who wants to be rich to pay all their games with Gamebet ? :p

I'll jump on the boat when you'll announce something new in partnership, so far you're not offering anything more then DGB, who's already a solid giant in Esport.

Good luck still.

Stop these Hype money, get in DGB!
