is it possible, to expand the antrun.de MHz-Range to 500MHz?

I got my first successfully working tests @475MHz / 462.5MHz .
It´s now possible with a special selfmade Peltier-Cooling solution )

Unfortunately it is dead.... and should, be put to rest. It is now just being used to control one of my gekko Miners, so not all is lost.

Nice Frequencies. I am playing with my gekko at the moment, have done brief tests at 400MHz, but a few HW errors so need to do a mod to up the voltage as have run out of range on the pot.

Ahh great !
@Gekko VCore : I guess the value for the pulldown resistor to Ground is too high....?
For my R1 I used a 10k to ground from the pot, so its possible a max Vcore of nearly 1V.

@Nice frequencies: yes, I think its not bad for the beginning
But the major issue seems to be the ckpool, so very often I got stops there between 10 to 30 minutes

Yes, no prob, I´ll upload it asap .
But don´t be disappointed,  it´s a first "quick´n´dirty" solution for testing

here some infos and a couple of first pics from my Peltier-cooled R1 Mod...

(Sorry, links only, but I hope, I get the Full member status asap, so I´m able to insert the pics directly)

What I´ve done with the R1 before:

1. disabled the internal power supply and using a Powerbrick with 5 Volt/10 Amp as supply
2. first trying to use heatsinks on both sides of BM1384, but decided finally to reuse the original case, because it´s in my eyes a good solution for heat dissipation
3. using twice new cooling pads on each sides of internal BM1384 for more pressure and better cooling conditions!
4. Vcore Mod with pot for variable VCore between 0.6 up to 1V
5. adding a Vcore voltmeter
6. add an Sharkoon HPS1
7. add an Peltier solution

But here finally some pics  :

1. Sharkoon HPS1 Cooler stuffed with a 40x40 Peltier



2. Sharkoon HPS1 Cooler with Peltier saddled up on the R1 Mod



3. First try - in front the Peltier-Controller Board



4. First working Temp Measure: note(!) In=Ambient Temp 25.1C , and OUT=Minertemp! = 24,9C  



5. First test @300MHz / Vcore 0.724 Volt



6. Second test @475MHz / Vcore 0.891 Volt working Temp Measure: In=Ambient Temp 24.7C (opened Window ) and OUT = Minertemp=41,1C



7. Third test @475MHz / screwed up Vcore to 0.900 Volt



8. Closer look @R1 running on 475Mhz

Clockrate: 475 MHz
Multi: 0901 (hex)
Vcore: 0.900 V
Hashrate: ~ 28GHs
Power Consumption: max 27,7Watts

But no, the S7 works with the BM1385, but the Antrouter R1 comes with a BM1384
(it´s the same ASIC used in S5 and S5+)

With a good enough electronics knowledge and power supply, you could modify an S5 (with proper cooling, and power supply) to do something similar? Obviously it would use an insane amount of electricity, but is that possible XD especially if you could put it somewhere with free electricity, although the chips probably wouldn't last too long, even with reasonable cooling

Yes it can be done. I have had an S5 up to 425MHz with the standard core voltage of 0.8V which you get with a 12V supply. As you say with the right cooling and a small increase in the 12V supply to 13.5V which would give you a core voltage of 0.9V you could probably push on up to about 500MHz.

At 425MHz Hash Rate was 1.4TH and at 500MHz it would be 1.65TH

My first pool is the one that i have registered for the race.

As for the other pools, I created multiple BTC addresses to point to ckpool (who knows one day ck will announce an R1 as winner amazing block finder )

Then, chose "Balance" to the failover  strategy so that R1 will cycle through all the mined addresses in a "balance" manner.

Maybe I didn't keep my R1 running long enough (always fine tuning the small guy every day).... any members who have successfully cycled to multiple pools?
