Yeah, altcoins are shitcoins mostly. They are there to make the owners and the early investors a big, huge, fat profit. They are not there for further improvements to the crypto system, nor are they currencies.

The price is there to pay for the late investors. They soak up the shitcoins others dump.

That is your perogative. I have never invested in Bitcoin. The only time I would have invested is at $10 in January 2013, when I concurred with rpietila that it was the time to go "all in" and he sold $100,000 of silver to go all in. Unfortunately my life had some bad turns from when I had 18,000oz of silver in 2008 and I was unable to place any investment in Bitcoin at that time, because I didn't have sufficient funds to put at risk any more. I had been ravaged by an illness and other events in my personal life.

But the point being that Bitcoin stopped being a 100X potential after 2013.

I am not interested in investing in a 10X bagger over the next several years which is the 666 TrojanHorse leading the world into digital enslavement. I don't understand the conscience of those who invest in BitCON. I don't respect them. I would use BitCON only because I need to.

The only thing an increasing BTC price will do is drive more demand for LTC and lessen demand for BTC, except for the Gullible.

But a point of clarification , they do not directly accept BTC,
they accept the Gift Cards that people pay for with BTC.

Which means they never hold BTC, so they don't directly support it.

The trick is to jump off the Bitcoin train to other cryptocoins right before TPTB take it down by cutting power to chinese mining farms. I think we're safe until the price is near ATH. It shouldn't happen this year, Bitcoin will survive the halving rollercoaster. 2017 is more like the time everyone should start packing up if they don't wanna be epic bagholders. This is not to say other lifeboats should be ignored today. Tickets will be expensive in 2017, not getting some minimal exposure to TPTB resistant alts in 2016 will end in many tears next year.
