2022 Is way too early, let's say about 2030, by then things will have changed a lot. People will be using it everywhere because they are going to be looking for a way to move money outside of the government radar and bitcoin will be the only gateway for freedom.
2022 is the way too early but the speed of bitcoin to success is also very faster and have crossed a longer way in a few years and is going to be a global currency in a shorter time so you will see 2022 that bitcoin will be everywhere and with everyone around you. I agree with that. The 2022 is just 6 years from now. Not even 5% of the world population will use bitcoin then. Consider some areas in the countries that doesn't have the same technology that we have.. remote areas which inaccessible in terms of internet. 2022 is really short but in the long years well definitely it's possible. yeah I agree with you later think the year 2022 will not be too advanced technology in rural areas or some poor countries so it is very likely that in 2022 later, they have not been able to use the internet. how they access bitcoin right ? so I think, too early for 2022 to all human use bitcoin |

I like your idea because you are to convince that bitcoin will be big in the near future but if you are dealing with some investment for the long term it's good to be realistic. Not all people who uses internet are into online transactions as kids can also use internet to play games and even matured people who are focus in social media. |

However, maybe if we assume in an increase of bitcoin users by that year is rather more likely to happen . You're so true that not all areas are already using internet. There are places that are not yet reached by the current technology and many people are not yet particular with the innovations happening in the technological world. So we cannot expect to have everyone using bitcoins in just short years. But in the future, perhaps, we could expect this to happen if we continue promoting bitcoins together with advanced technology to many people. |

Bitcoin adoption should not be at a crazy rate, because in reality little by little bitcoin began to be used and adopted by some people. So in 2022 I'm sure almost everyone or the majority of people will be using bitcoin, although that's not all. Bitcoin will be an excellent alternative in 2022. |

well most likely after 6 years, bitcoin will be used by more people all over the world but there are countries where this won't be possible. some third world countries cannot afford to be reliant on digital currencies. even in most 1st world countries, where being online is available anywhere, people still would prefer to have fiat money in their pockets. so it may be used by more people but it would be like an option only for people same as how credit card is being used now |

Taking into consideration that at 2020 the halving should put bitcoin once again at 1000 dollars, i do believe this will bring a huge mass of investment into bitcoin as well several new bitcoiners.
I think that halving will do the opposite just like it was this year. The price will fall and mining will become even harder, so it won't be a good time for Bitcoin. People may start using it even less then they do now in such a case. Why should halving put btc at 1000 dollars anyway? Because the price will naturally fall and then more people will start buying Bitcoin? |

india started strict actions against illegal wealth and the government started proactive steps to counter it by banning 500 and 1000 rs currency i am sure people will adapt and i am sure there will be more regulations world wide which would make people invest in digital currency rather than trusting fiat.

I believe that it will have a big impact for those people who are living in the third world countries as they can have an opportunity with it. But for those country, rich countries. I don't even know if they are interested to know what bitcoin really is. And with that timeframe,2022. Impossible that everyone will use bitcoin on that year. |

Since this thread is posted in the Economics' Section, lets relate Bitcoin with supply and demand, we all know that Bitcoins has a limited quantity in which it can only be 21,000,000 after that nothing more can be mined by miners, so we have a limited supply. The demand part will be the tricky one as I know many people hoarded Bitcoin and holding it until now and is waiting for its Price to Boom. The demand for bitcoin will be the driver if it can be recognize by everyone in 2022 |
