In the year 2022, I think the average of bitcoin users or bitcoin enthusiast is will increase to 95%. If that happen many of the bitcoin community will get rich at once. So it is better right now to keep and hold our BTC while we wait for that moment.
I think, in 2022, everyone has been using bitcoin. there may be some countries who struggle to use bitcoin for political affairs of a country, but I think they already know bitcoin. I also believe that it would be a lot of work on the internet that pay them with bitcoin. it will make people who have difficulty working in the field, and unemployment vying to sign up for the job. it will make everyone know about bitcoin. |

Unlikely, bitcoin is a great technology and currency but bitcoin has limitations like the speed of confirmations, so until that is resolved bitcoin will not reach most people, it will grow in adoption but it is not going to be used by everyone.

The speed of confirmation of Bitcoin transactions is one of the technical threats but I think political and threat of the unknown possess more jinx to its mass adoption. Nevertheless, Bitcoin have proven to be a fighter and survivor and as one country after another is losing their grip and faith on their local currencies, Bitcoin seems the only viable way forward. |

I dont think so. We are far away from that. Destroyinh fiat? Nonsense. That is way too future to think and everyone is still leaning on the fiat system. I would say that bitcoin can be an alteenative in payments, something like credit cards (but I do not say they are alike).
Example is when you go to a grocery, there is cash or card, someday there will be a bitcoin line.
It is really far away from the reality. And 2022 is really near which bitcoins time line is still not enough to become famous and to be used by almost everyone in the world. I believe that bitcoin is going to be used as one of alternative payments where you are able to do the things you had mentioned. And many are going to love it. |

I don't see any correlation on the confirmation time and the number of bitcoin users. Was I persuaded by someone that I should do bitcoins because the confirmation time is almost an instant? No. A big no. They don't complement each other. Up to now, I don't even mind waiting for 10 minutes to receive or send my bitcoins. I think hyping up bitcoins would be the best way to grow in population. Just look at Pokemon Go, people posted about it every single day when it was about to get released and after it got released. It has a lot players right when they released it. If people would just do the same thing. If people would make bitcoins the trend, then mass adoption will be achieve shorter than expected. |

I don't understand that statement, is it 95% of the world population or 95% of the current BTC holder. I believe Bitcoin will make inward route into some economy and sustain its growth but for if we can get 10% of the world population involved either directly or indirectly in BTC, it would be a great success and great investment for investors Having 95% of the worlds population to engage in bitcoin is impossible on 2020. If bitcoin can survive the release of fiat currency it will still not reach that high percentage. But one thing for sure if bitcoin can overcome the existence of fiat currency it will surely have millions of users and the price of bitcoin will also reach a million dollars, and thats for sure. |

It would take more than 5 years for that to be realized. I believe it is actually possible to make bitcoin the main digital currency but as it is, it still needs to accepted by a lot of people and businesses for it to reach everyones attention. Definitely more people will be aware of bitcoin in 5years and most likely more people would've used btc onr way or another, but it would take more than that to make btc the main digital currency |

Bitcoin doesn't have much use as a currency. It's a great tool to transfer value short term, but holding it for any period of time exposes the holder to extreme volatility and the risk of much loss of value. Nobody really uses it as a currency. It's used as a speculative asset, to evade gambling controls, and as value transfer and remissions across borders. I don't see many people using it for commerce.

It is said that bitcoin will destroy the fiat system but i believe that if this happens the world will change completly because banks and a lot of things will go out of market.
I believe one day in the future (but not in 2022) bitcoin will dominate the financial system and nearly whole world will recognize and will use it. But I don't think bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency can destroy our traditional fiat system. It is impossible with the financial system we have at the moment. |

Sometimes I have been a bit skeptical about this possibility, but many people were also skeptical when mobile phones emerged 30 years ago and anyone believed that almost everybody would be using them these days.
So I am starting to think it may be possible, but of course this disruptive technology will also need several years to achieve that expected massive adoption.

Mobile phones have become an necessity nowadays and it doesn't have any alternative option but when it comes to a currency or payment system there are many alternatives available so people will choose that best suits them and which is easy and convenient to use and people who are comfortable with fiat will never prefer to switch to bitcoins. Alternate payment gateways help in the continued use of fiat and bitcoin usage too cannot grow in a short period. We are very low in terms of number than fiat users. The spreading done by each user is a must to make bitcoin reach at least half the population by 2022. |

More than half of the world population won't be using Bitcoin or any other Altcoin in 2022. The value of Bitcoin in terms of fiat will keep on increasing as more people come on board. But it won't replace fiat.

Confirmation speed is one of the biggest hurdles for bitcoin to overcome, maybe you are fine waiting for ten minutes but most people will not be fine with that, can you imagine buying groceries with bitcoin and to have to wait ten minutes to get a confirmation? No, me neither, if bitcoin is going to reach that level of adoption confirmation will need to be a matter of seconds not minutes. |
