What is happening in China is difficult to explain. I was generally surprised when I learned that it is China that controls more than half of the bitcoins.

Bitcoin is gaining popularity day by day and many more people are showing their interest in investing their money in bitcoins but its really hard to believe that almost everyone will start using bitcoins in next 5 years as bitcoin has not reached everywhere yet and it will take long time that everyone starts using bitcoins.
Yes that is right, 5 years is not enough for bitcoin to get a lot of users and almost everyone for using bitcoin because 5 years is not enough and there is still a lot of people who don't use bitcoin or even don't have idea about bitcoin, i think it will take at least 10 years for bitcoin to reach all people around the world because it is not that easy as we think. It will atleast take a couple decades for people to actually adopt bitcoin as a payment method and for governments to approve of it. Right now, it has taken 10 years since bitcoin's inception for a major government to approve of bitcoin (Japan). 5 years is definitely not enough time for bitcoin to reach all people around the world. Bitcoin has only been around since late 2008. It's not yet 10 years old. It's taken this long to come this far, and that's not very far at all when you consider notnknly the adoption rate, but the rate of awareness. I don't find it likely Bitcoin attains mass adoption in the long run, let alone any truncated or nearterm time period.

Major governments like the US wont allow another currency to replace the US dollar. If they are willing to start a war with Iraq because they were going to demoninate their oil in Euros, I doubt that they will allow bitcoin to replace fiat.

Bitcoin popularity is now increasing and a lot of people and countries already noticed bitcoin as a good investment and also currency at same time and i think in 2022 the rate of people will use bitcoin will be around 40%.

In economically developed countries, after 5 years of possible fasting, everyone will use bitcoin after 5 years. And in dysfunctional countries during this time can only hear about the crypto currency.

I believe by 2030 bitcoin will have risen to 500000 --1000000 per coin, and by 2050 all gov entities , stockmarket, and banks will have gone thru major adjustments and some or most might be completely replaced or not even exsist. For instance you now have a German zirconium plant using blockchain technologies to gain capital to start there factories from the public investing there hard earned dollars, ZR coin, everybody should pay close attention to this because for the first time this is happening, the banks and stock exchange are being cut out of the equation, this is how it should be done, I should be able to invest my hard earned money a little bit I have and earn a decent return, why should the billion dollar banks and trillion dollar in debt gov agencies like the SEC get to decide who gets what, that's the problem the whole global system is strategically set up so the 1% keep getting 99% of all the money, it's pure*#=%÷×@, tell me otherwise, the world would be a much better place if the money was spread out among everybody not equally but fairly, so I see this whole block chain cryptocurrency tug off war we are watching the banks well off course they will try to go with the program, u think they don't want a dip of everything, but in the end they won't exsist because nobody will nead them, maybe small organizations that hold pressious metals but when there is no reason to have to barrow from a bank then that will be the end, we won't need them to hold coins so how will they fit into the equation, and the stock exchange, say goodbuy to that, boy I wish I could be here to see all these things happen, maybe I will, but I'm going to quit ranting, I could go on forever this is a good subject , there will be a day when everybody uses coins, what kind will rise to the top who knows but anybody who see how the money is controlled knows what I'm saying, these things will happen.

I don't think Everyone will be using Bitcoin but most likely they will be involved in some digital money. Now in developing countries also where banking is scarce, you will see big pockets of populations using it as they get mobile technology at their fingertips and access to the blockchain. It will though become far more prominent and I see at least one member in each family unit either saving or using bitcoin for all the family as a standard practice. In my family it was just myself involved in Bitcoin and digital currencies, now my Husband, Son and my Father have some limited ties to Bitcoin also..so now we are 4 members who have some connection to Bitcoin.

I don't think Bitcoin will be widely use that quickly. It might be more popular in certain countries that is still in underdeveloped. However for developed countries economy is much more stable and the majority of the people would prefer a currency that is less volatile. I expect the Bitcoin price to continue to grow and see it more of a online payment or even new use cases which open opportunities of income stream for entertainers.

Bitcoin will more then likely won't destroy fiat , Banks and goverments will simply won't let us do that . They will even make their own crypto currencies but It won't be decentralized like Bitcoin because they like to control .
Now if we speak about the price , yes It's going to rise a lot and if we speak about the users then yes It will rise a lot too but "Almost everyone" ? probably not .
Well said. . Know where we stand. Do what you can do.

when this year comes, i believe bitcoin is already famous. with the speedy internet now, am pretty sure people are now very much aware of bitcoin. nothing is impossible comes 2022. The speed of the Internet wouldn't make people study about bitcoins. As a matter of fact, with better speed of the Internet, you're going to be more distracted since you can download HD movies, play online games with no lags, etc. There's tons of distractions on the Internet. Someone who has a slow Internet connection will not be able to do all this and learning bitcoins don't require fast connection. The latter might become even more interested about earning money online since what he can only do is search stuffs and read articles. He can't be preoccupied by the aforementioned distractions of the Internet.

Good point. I think 3rd world country from Africa to Asia will really benefited from bitcoin. Specially who don't have access to bank, with just a mobile phone on their hand, they can exchange their bitcoin to fiat or used it a mode of online payment. Though Internet is a pre-requisite, I think 3rd world country is need to put up infrastructure like Internet to fully maximize the potential used of bitcoin in their country.

Bitcoin wont destroy the fiat system, governements and banks will join their power to wont let that happen.Bitcoin mass adoption looks too short, there are several poor countries ,soo bitcoin wont achieve those areas, but being used by almost all i believe its possible on the next 20 years,as the industry and big companies start to work with bitcoin.
I also do not agree on the point the bitcoin will destroy the fiat. And in fact it does not need to destroy the fiat to become a currency that can be used of all. It just need to develop its system and transaction. Make time to develop more wallets and ways to used bitcoin for more people to support using bitcoin. I agree that fiat may help bitcoin to make this happen because as of noe bitcoin need fiat more than fiat need bitcoin. Companies and businesses want sure income so they may support bitcoin if bitcoin will develop more.

It won't be used? Look how the price are swollen, you think people especially investors will let this slip away. And when people knew about these they will be willingly make some investments in these digital currency too. And in 2022, I think many countries accepted bitcoin but still secondary payment, some problems solved but new problems emerged.

There are only max 21M bitcoins, so there can be only 21M people that have one btc. So if it goes really mainstream it can go much higher and it's also a counterweight to fiat money.

I agree that soon more countries will be adopting and legalizing btc which will make it accessible to more and more people.

There are only max 21M bitcoins, so there can be only 21M people that have one btc. So if it goes really mainstream it can go much higher and it's also a counterweight to fiat money.
The advantage of using a cryptocurrency like bitcoin is that you can divide the coin to millions divisions. The lowest fiat denomination is the 5 cents coin (0.05 unit). People don't have to carry 1 BTC exactly so bitcoins having a limitation of 21 million isn't a problem at all. The amount of bitcoins in circulation is probably much less than 21 millions though, but we'll never know of course. "So if it goes really mainstream it can go much higher" - The supply wouldn't increase just because people are already using bitcoins. People simply have to settle about the fact that bitcoin is scarce and that's what gives it value (i.e. supposed that there's unlimited supply of bitcoin, then it will be valueless)
