is there a way to determine from getmininginfo how many or what percentage block to go to pos vs pow?
I ask because I want to be able to develop sw that accurately tracks the number of blocks going to pow per day.
thanks in advance

My public offerta: [1500 NVC] NVC-based Mozilla Thunderbird Anti-spam plugin
The bounty is offered to develop a plugin for Mozilla Thunderbird, which should facilitate spam filtration by using Novacoin blockchain. The idea is to use digital stamping. With every mail message a small NVC payment is sent, and the payment proof is attached to the message. Messages without such a stamp are considered spam, and an optional reply can be forwarded to the sender explaining why his message was discarded. There also must be the white list feature where legitimate senders (like mailing lists) could be added manually so that they don't require a stamp.
The end goal is to dramatically increase costs of sending spam thus rendering it ineffective. The exact mechanism is up to the developer, but it mustn't be easily or cheaply exploitable.
This text was translated from Russian, sorry for any incomprehensibility.

what's wrong with the blockchain?
it's slowed to 1 new block every 27 minutes??
what's going on...and on top of that network hash is down along with difficulty. the time should be decreasing not increasing.

When the network hashrate falls the time between blocks increases because the difficulty hasn't adjusted to the lower hashrate yet. This is what's happening at the moment. There's nothing wrong.

Win32 builds of latest snapshot made with microsoft compiler and Qt 5.3.2: AMD64 | x86As usual for windows builds, binaries are signed with Thawte Code Signing certificate. These builds are providing all changes available since release of 0.4.4.6-update9 version. The most significant change is resolving stake miner issue, which prevented a proper utilization of some transactions. There are also some minor changes in the RPC calls, getnettotals command has been added. Official release is planned a bit later. P.S. At this moment we're considering usage of microsoft compiler for all official Win32 builds.

Win32 builds were updated again. This time we're using mingw64 building environment because unicode handling issue was found in the MSVC builds. LevelDB: AMD64 | x86BerkeleyDB: AMD64 | x86New builds are including the latest pull requests, such as probability calculator.
