I know there are many big players who manipulate bitcoin price and make huge profits but can we the bitcointalk members also form a cartel and let bitcoin price never fall?is it possible that we manipulate price as I am sure most of bitcoin users visit this forum
We can manipulate it i think all big holder of bitcoin is here but i think they didnt want to join in your want that this price of bitcoin will not fall. But they can do it but they dont want because it is their job to buy at low sell at high if the price of bitcoin didnt fall they cant earn on it. So your plan is not good at traders. i doubt that it is possible to manipulate the price for every big holder only a huge whale can manipulate the price if he has at least ten thousand bitcoins to sell or buy We can really manipulate the price of bitcoin but you will need to lose big money then  if you are going to dump bitcoin price you need atleast million budget and then you can realyl control the price of bitcoin it's like altcoin if someone can really manipulate the price then bitcoin has too. I think you have to be prepared to lose big money because if you want to manipulate the price of bitcoin you should be prepared to buy or sell bitcoin not at the price should and surely you will lose by it, but if it works of course you'll get a huge advantage but if of course you will also lose a huge loss |

There is no way an ordinary person like us can manipulate the price of bitcoin, actually it will not give any bad reputation on bitcoin in general because a certain bag holders can manipulate the price since they have the privilege to do it, the more you invest the more you have power to manipulate the price so we need to accept that already. |

There is no way an ordinary person like us can manipulate the price of bitcoin, actually it will not give any bad reputation on bitcoin in general because a certain bag holders can manipulate the price since they have the privilege to do it, the more you invest the more you have power to manipulate the price so we need to accept that already. it's sure giving bitcoin bad reputation because it will lose point of being decentralized currencies that the price is controlled by the market and user's demand,if someone can manipulate,then why we keep using bitcoin,it's just for the sake of individual to get advantages of thousands person if it's really happening |

since i am not sure that there is idea of prediction but i am.sure that new new news about Bitcoin to join new services will leads into the rise price . because when new company involve in the bitcoin then he Makes a bulk btc purchase that will leads in to the increase price so daily news in bitcoin may can give idea of making profit . |

since i am not sure that there is idea of prediction but i am.sure that new new news about Bitcoin to join new services will leads into the rise price . because when new company involve in the bitcoin then he Makes a bulk btc purchase that will leads in to the increase price so daily news in bitcoin may can give idea of making profit . With your explanation, that is not a manipulation but a progress of bitcoin as a whole. If more merchants will accept bitcoin as a more of payment, the demand of bitcoins will increase and eventually the price will increase and that is normal under the situation. |

I think we can. But only in a way. If we make a treaty on this forum and say that Bitcoin will grow in price then more people will start buying it and price will grow. But there are some circumstances we can't control. Halving, for instance, which is in the code. Or some big robberies which can make the price lower down as well.

Why the prices is changing soo much, what you think its happening, the big miners are pushing the price up once again the same way they did last year around this time as well, the result were a jump from 250 to 400 dollars and now we are on the same train once again, soo January should reach and hit the 800 dollars.
I think there won't be big difference between today's price of bitcoin in january. Maybe the situation is samr but bitcoin's price is more stable now but I hope your prediction will be true 😃 Than I will have great profit but I am afraid that reality will be different from ehat you said. And I agree you in fact that big miners are controlling it's price halfly, I think. |

Do you really think that we users can manipulate the Bitcoin price, for that you will be needing around 10% share of the market, and i dont think except miners and exchanges other are holding this much. So i think manipulation of bitcoin price by users is not possible, even from this forum users also. |

Moving bitcoin price is possible only sith orchestrated buying and selling on several exchangers, for that you need money, here we talk about huge investments.

With altcoins you can do a lot with a few thousand BTC compared to manipulating the price of Bitcoin, but the point with altcoins is that you'll need to own at least 25-50% of the coins in existence in order to risk that many coins into manipulating the price. If you only own just a few percent of the coins in existence, then you risk pumping up the price where others dump it down directly. That's not how things should be, right?  |
