I think most people use for both purposes, especially taking into consideration the number of holders expecting the currency to appreciate.

The number of bitcoin holders are always expecting bitcoin to become usable as a currency as well but because of the low level of adoption we are still not available to use it as a currency that is the reason why it is being used as an investment mostly.

yeah one cause bitcoin can not be used as a currency that perfect is because adopter is still fairly small. so traders are reluctant to add bitcoin as an additional payment option. though I think it will not harm them in the slightest? why they do not accept bitcoin?

I usually buy it because of the potential to make profit, mainly as an investment in that case. But sometimes I spend it. So I could say that I use it for both purposes, as an investment and as a currency sometimes.

You don't have to force yourself to buy something when there isn't anything you need. I at this point only spend my coins on Namecheap for buying domains and adding years to domains. Other than that there isn't anything that I need to spend coins at, so I don't do it.

To all bitcoin holders, using the full potential and features of bitcoin seems automatic.. we can at anytime use it as currency to merchants that accept bitcoins, invest to trading platforms that also accepts bitcoins, and can even use it to deposit to online casinos with no hassle at all compared to fiat money. That is why, bitcoin is the best and have the most potential among other cryptocurrencies..

Yeah if you really want to help the adoption of bitcoin fast then you must spend bitcoin as a currency and also get some good investments at all. This is what I am doing right now, I am using bitcoins for all the possible things that be bought and get paid with it. But I am still saving some amount but not that too high.

Yeah that's something pretty good to do, if we do not have the skills or the ability to fold the duplicate bitcoin by other means (gambling, investing, etc.). because the price of the bitcoin is unstable, and it could be put to good use when we have high enough patience. To get the advantages we have to wait and be reckless

Nobody can be sure that price will go higher in future, so if you have an opportunity to spend it as an currency then you should go for it and save some of it for the future.

In my opinion, few invests or trades bitcoin as a currency. Most likely earn bitcoin users and change it to a normal real currency to have to use it for other purposes.

Yeah I think that is the right thing to do, we need to use our coins according to the benefits that we are getting from it, its always good to sell the coins when price is higher rather then just holding them.
