Its an long term investment for me so I don't prefer to use it as a currency, but I do sell them when I am in  urgent need of money so I sell them and convert it to my local currency.

So still even you are not preferred to use it as a currency there are times you need to use it. Converting bitcoin to fiat can considered as using this currency as a currency.

I do also preferred to use this coin as an investment since I have no problem for my regular spendings as my daily job taking care of those.

I think we can both consider bitcoin as investment and currency. because we are using it if we can not still use it in our local place we can be till convert it just like a usd if we can not use it locally we can convert it into country money to use it..

yes, it should be able to achieve $10,000 in the future. if growth bitcoin increasingly widespread and used as investments by big companies and is also used as currency by the whole world.

It will totally depend on the adoption level of bitcoins, if we see major growth in adoption then we may see price even higher then $10k in future.

Most people buy bitcoins for trading but not just for holding them but the ones who does not feel safe for trading and think they can lose their coins they just buy and hold them so that they can earn profits when the price grows.

We have to be patient with that. It takes some time for other mervhants to measure the risks. They still got doubts if there is really profit in accepting it. Meanwhile, we can use purse.io and openbazaar for buying some things.
