The fact that the S9's sold out that much quicker is reassuring for those of us who bought S9's over L3+'s Cheesy

Hey all, so i must have visited bitmain's site right when they put them on sale and must have got lucky. anyways i was looking at the block chain and once a customer makes a payment to the given address they send it to one main wallet.... that has 1 billion USD in it.. pretty crazy.. 9hZx234vNtLazfx5J2bxHsiWEmeYE8a7k

So annoying.. Missed out on the sale by few minutes. Guys, are we able to change shipping details at later stage if there are some changes to the delivery recipient, location etc?

Really hopeful that there will be another chance like this again these days. When are these going to be delivered? March?

You used to be able to change the shipping address but I read recently that they don't allow it anymore, the shipping address you enter when you order is locked in. I may be wrong though.

Anyway, if you don't have the Telegram app on your phone, someone on these forums made a bot that check the Bitmain site every few seconds to alert you when they go in stock. That's the only reason I knew about this most recent batch, they didn't even announce it on Twitter or anything.

I am not trying to be an asshole, but apparently you have never ordered from them. No matter whether you order 100 or 1, you still pay the same shipping per product. Go order the Jan. APW3 now and you will pay the same if you ordered them all together. They do not do combined shipping on anything.. They ship everything single for customs reasons.

Yeah, i do have the telegram BOT, but unfortunately it took me around 10 minutes to sit in front of a computer.. I'll have to find out about the address thing as i might be overseas during the delivery (March 1-10) so not sure if i should put the delivery under someone else's name. Anyway, that's me being optimistic if we get another chance at this batch at all.  Huh

No. They may come together, but they will not be packaged together. You must order each individual product, and it does not matter the quantity. Each will be shipped independently and charged accordingly.

If your expecting to order an s9 with a PSU already attached simply plug in instant money maker.... Well..... (throws hands in the air)

Fedex used to be the way to go.. UPS simply says.. "Got a check?" ICOD eating it up. Any way they can kill a miner.... Sad

If a lot of BTC miners are taken offline in China, that would result in the difficulty going down correct? Wouldn't that mean more profit for us regular miners?

Assuming they wouldn't plug them back in somewhere else, in theory yes the difficulty should drop leaving more profit for everyone else. In reality the operators would probably just move them somewhere else and get back up and running there and not much would change.

Correct. Problem is the difficulty is not rising as fast as the machines are produced because Bitmain made this whole BCH Bullshit, and a lot of machines are on it trying to get more.

 So who really won here?

The telegram bot saved the day again, they just had an availability for s9 miners open for not even 2 minutes. I snagged one buuuttt I noticed something unusual.... they had an option for a USD wire transfer as well as a BTH payment. I picked the wire transfer out of curiosity and I gives me all the needed info needed to complete a wire transfer with a 7 day window. Is that out of the norm for them?

Yeah, USD wire option... I'm at work at the moment so it's still in my cart. I have a screenshot on my phone but I don't know if my 'membership status' lets me upload photos yet... plus I don't to remember how to do it on a forum anyway  Lips sealed , but if I'm allowed I'll try to up load it when I'm off at 0700 EST. If my status doesn't grant me that option yet I can shoot an email/text to trusted community member now if it's that unusual for bitmain and needs inspection.

Ok so it's not a fluke but (I guess because of my ignorance) it makes me wonder why offer it now?
