I've been looking at marketplace but no luck at the moment. Maybe it's a sign to wait more before purchasing miners. Saw a listing for >$100 per coupon but I'm not willing to pay that much. |

Didn't see this mentioned in the S9 thread, but thought I'd share some info on the S9 that I saw mentioned in an article about Bitmain's E3 : ..."Because of the declining value of cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, some market watchers are concerned that Bitmain may significantly cut its orders with TSMC. However, the sources from the upstream supply chain revealed that Bitmain so far has not made any major adjustment to its orders. In addition to 16nm and 28nm mining and AI chip orders, Bitmain is currently in talks with the Taiwan-based wafer foundry about manufacturing on its 7nm process.
Bitmain's 16nm Bitcoin ASIC orders have recently been shifted from TSMC's Fab 14 in Taiwan to the fab in Nanjing, China as Fab 14 will be upgraded to support a 12nm manufacturing process. The orders are expected to begin shipments in May, the sources said.
Fab 14 has already obtained orders from MediaTek for its AI-supported Helio P60 smartphone AP and Nvidia for its next-generation GPUs, the sources added.

We can only hope, of course if they release the S11's too quickly they will gain even more haters because they were selling the S9's for 2800 not too long ago  |

The more useful information was, that they “talk” about 7nm with TMSC. This technology will be more likely the base for the S11 ASIC than 12nm. The last order i placed of 13.5T S9s, received 2 of them 13T. after exchanging tickets, they have decided to compensate with a $83 coupon. For me the best miner is the 14T. It runs at cooler temperatures reaching max 74C and almost steady fan speeds. The 13T and 13.5T are driving me crazy. the fans keeps going crazy, constantly ramping up to max and down, overthought the inlet temperature is 19C! tried everything but still going crazy. |
