Bitcoin needs to be calm when trading. We have to be very careful especially in dump and pump situations.

You do not have to worry if the price of bitcoin drops. Anyway the price will rise again. But it may not rise again when altcoins fall in price. Many people are losing money in altcoins.

Dumps and pumps are part of all crypto currencies, the same way as others currencies and markets assets. At bitcoin we do have a lot whales that make all the magic happens, while with others markets are banks and big fortunes that make pression in the price, but both markets are week against bad news.

And once those whales started to make a dump, people that are in the same level to us will do panic selling. They are scared to lose a lot of profit believing that it will be dumped for real and it isn't going to pump again. But we already saw the charts of bitcoin, always after those people do panic selling, they are regretting it.

Panic selling is always there and you are right because most of the panic sellers in the market are the newbies because they didn't have knowledge about bitcoin and they just think if the price is falling that bitcoin will not bounce back. Exactly a newbie still don't what is the lowest limit and the highest limit of bitcoin price, what is the potential and why the price is falling down, so when the price fall down they become panic and sell all of their coin, while an experience trader see falling price as an opportunity to earn more, experience is really important to know when to sell and when to hold and when to buy

Dont panic selling.you need to know when you need to sell your coins and i can tell you the time is not yet here.Many people are now holding it for a long time because they see that the value of the Bitcoin is rising slowly.Patience in Bitcoin is really important otherwise you will be not to be able to earn profit.

Panic selling is only to those who are weak hearted. Bitcoins price is very volatile so it is normal for its price to pump or dump in an instant. Whales are grabbing this opportunity in order to gain profit from new traders. They will dump the coin from the price they want and then it will create a chain reaction and the new traders will panic sell. After they reach the price they want. They will then pump the coin and from that margin, they are gaining profit from it.

It is also for those that don't know what they got into, maybe they thought they would see small fluctuation like what you see in forex but in bitcoin the changes in price can be brutal it is not rare for us to lose 10% or more in a day of the value of our holdings in bitcoin.

Yes whales are the one who dictate and forces other investors or traders to do a certain thing. Usually if a news or adoption is upcoming then the whales will do the 'buy the rumor then sell the news' strategy where they bought a lot of bitcoins and if the rumor is confirmed then it is already late for other people to buy bitcoins and they will be forced to buy bitcoins at a high price which is instant profit for whales.

I dont agree that Whales determine market direction.  That is not the case in normal businesses and markets.   What should be correct is the whales with the most to lose individually do try to avoid the largest moves turning against them.   But the biggest market force normally is the millions of people who use bitcoin, most of them are not rich.    The people who are moving around less then 1 bitcoin are really the market force and a whale even while rich cannot combat this.

Its like fighting the tide, the vast majority of people are what make a price move in one direction or the other long term.  Whale usually means speculator also, which is not a real user of bitcoin just someone attempting to benefit from flow of coins to or from dollars and so on.   The real users and holders even while small amount to the strongest force.

This is why building up utility for bitcoin is important, we need people to go to bed while holding bitcoin.  If a million people do this with a few hundred dollars, that value becomes embedded into the currency value and everyone benefits from a useful transaction system.  The whales ultimately will migrate to wherever the easiest fishing grounds are, these are not the truest supporters just the most notable.

Im a big fan of natural effects in a market, Im just trying to point out that people even if rich and big individually cannot force something to be true that isnt otherwise.  Exchange tricks and trading are really short term, obviously manipulation can occur but its not the big story for crypto imo.   Bitcoin doesn't deviate far from 'real' markets imo, it is more volatile with large velocity of course so the amplitude or height on any graph is larger but the system of waves is comparable afaik

If we the situation of panic selling then without thinking twice we should engage ourselves in buying as much coins as possible as that would be the best time to buy cheap coins and wait for the price to go high so that we can sell them at some good profits.
