Find a new hobby to replace gambling. Try working out, learning to code, video games or something like that. I wouldn't recommend gambling with play money, the best thing to do is do some new hobby whenever you feel the urge to gamble. Just keep it up and the urge will eventually go away.

That's right, find an alternative hobbies for gambling. Gambling is not easy to take out in our life but if you limits yourself by giving small amount of time and the rest is for sports it can help to you to leave in the world of gambling. And much better to spend some time for our family to avoid jealousing in gambling, sometimes it happen. Just keep on your mind that gambling is not profitable in our life thus its a problem in the end.

Giving up is not easy to do so I've seen so many people so frustrated on here I wanted to post what has worked thus far as that is what so many people want. Some are searching for for solutions that will work and might found that all on his own. Gamblers are smart people if they put the same effort into recovery they can do it. We can all fall into traps of wanting to fix the addiction so we end up keep falling instead of giving more attention regarding on giving up.

I will not totally give up gambling. I will just lessen the time of doing gambling at least ones or twice a month. I will spend my time in other ways as always. Making money, studying, hang out with friends, watch TV, surf the net. Do my thesis. Then if I feel bored and I want to have fun sometime I will do gambling again. It is really hard to give up gambling if you are really involve to gambling. Feels like there is a part of you that is for gambling.

I believe if we are able to control ourselves then we do not have to quit gambling.  Gambling if taken in moderation can greatly help us to balance our mode.  With works and a lot of worries, stress often occur.  We can remove stress through gambling.  It has been studied and already proven that gambling can remove stress and help us in our job by refreshing us during the start of the week.

quitting in gambling is not too easy to do like others think, it's not just like a hot rice that when you burn you can spit it. it is very difficult just like to answer the examination that you have no idea to answer.  so if every one are going to quit on them just make sure that you are well determined to quit on there. and quit on gambling little by little don't quit abrupt because it is very difficult.

I understand your point. If one can balance life and gambling properly and do gambling only as a recreation and to have fun then its good. Many people take gambling as a mode to earn money - that is incorrect because the casinos are made for the owners to make profit. If one just runs e=hind gambling to make profits then they will be at a loss. Its better to consider it as a mode of entertainment.

Well you should find someone that can block the IP to the gambling site for you, make them set up something that you can break out so that you CAN't ever gamble again.

If the person was addicted into gambling it is called full pledged addict. It wouldn't be easy for the addict gambler to give up His/Her gambling habit. Unless if He will apply strong determination and dedication to give it up. Though, in reality it would be hard

Well you should find someone that can block the IP to the gambling site for you, make them set up something that you can break out so that you CAN't ever gamble again.

Well that does not mean that the addiction will take over them and they will just sign up on another website to gambling. If the person can control their own emotions then such things are not necessary. One needs to get a grip over their mind and stop thinking about gambling and that gambling is profitable. Everyone can stop at their own will if they want to but most people dont want to stop. They keep on trying to win, wether it is a small amount or bigger amount. In the end most people will keep on coming back if they keep thinking like that and keep on blaming addiction so that they could have a solid reason of coming back

You made a good choice on quitting, however I think working on casino is a bad idea. You're planning to quit but you're work might tempt you to go back. Find another job that would completely let you quit your bad habit. I think most gamblers experienced what you've been through. Find another hobby or diversion that would replace your crave to gamble.

Exactly. Any business' main purpose is only for profit and nothing else. With regards with the addiction to gambling, it is like being addicted to cigarettes and it became almost a part of your routine now. It might be harder for someone to completely stop their vices since it takes a lot of time and the individual must be willing to change. But with the right mindset, I believe that it is not impossible to change their ways since I know a lot of people who changed their ways in a similar manner.

If we want to come back then we can come back. Why not come back if we only play for fun , if we come back only with a small amount then it is fine. We wont lose alot of money and we could have fun. If we think about only having fun then it isalright to keep on playing just like me
