Hi guys and girls! After making quite a lot of money then losing it and crying about it half the afternoon I have decided to give up gambling for good.  Its not for me in have a much too addictive personality. So now I just plan to work for casinos but not gamble.

The thing is you know you should cash out but you always want just that little bit more and then u lose the whole lot. I'm stupid and greedy. Right after I lost i put more in and doubled it then I went all in and lost it. So yes u can make a killing gambling with such a small about like a few dollars but then u lose all u make and waste a lot of time and energy and end up getting upset. Also i shake like mad when I gamble and I hate that. I tremble. When I lose I can't believe what the screen is telling me.

So any thoughts ? Ways to stop ? Ways to gamble with play money ? Maybe there are dust gambling casinoes I can use? U know just for fun and for the fix.

It's really hard to quit gambling or any bad habits. I think the best thing that you can do is to find any other ways to have fun. You can just go exercise, read a book, or travel. Finding a way to keep your self busy is the best way to avoid gambling.

yeah but sometimes people really having fun through gambling more than anything , that's why it's hard for them to leave. it's feel like a thrill that you can't find elsewhere , but the consequences are so dangerous , you could get addicted just like drugs addiction , stay away are better indeed.

There's a lot of games that does not require money in the internet. I'm sure you'll gonna enjoy them too specially online games where there is interaction. You can invite your friends online and just do the fun with out losing a cent. This too is addictive but nevertheless you wont be loosing money.

There's a lot of games that does not require money in the internet. I'm sure you'll gonna enjoy them too specially online games where there is interaction. Thats a very much good suggestion and its free so the process as long the road of stopping playing he can sometimes minimize it the money and addiction. But this also may trigger into more addiction if it is worsen so its better to have a guidance if he plays.

I was actually a very heavy gambler before, and I can boldly beat my chest and say it wasn’t easy giving up gambling. I started gambling at a very early age and by that I was already addicted at the age of 25, it took a lot of inner drive and energy to give up the habit

It's really hard to quit gambling or any bad habits. I think the best thing that you can do is to find any other ways to have fun. You can just go exercise, read a book, or travel. Finding a way to keep your self busy is the best way to avoid gambling.

I work on this phenomenon too, “keep yourself soo much busy that you don't find time to listen to the voice of your heart". It really works and with time, I have developed myself in a way that I don't get into anything too much.

It's like even if I want, I can't and honestly, I am okay with it. This is the best remedy for addiction.

Yeah , True but still i don't think it is better for those who are much addicted in the gambling because they can play any interesting game but not for long time in day , so at last they will go for the internet and social media for the making enjoy but history and daily habbit will force him toward the gambling again .
So in my opinion if anyone is addicted towarr gambling like me , then he should set himself a target for daily gambling .
I mean to say that he should be surr that he will make 1-2 bet in one day or he should make a small amount of profit daily and not go for big ,or after the win he will exit the game for that day .
In this way he will make himself more profitable and also he will become less addicted toward gambling .
