Please explain to me why such a high price?

This despite the fact that the daily volume is very small: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/42-coin/

Mostly because of this https://42-coin.github.io/#features.
The fact that the volume is low, but the price does not fall, may indicate that the price target is higher, because there are no people willing to sell at the current level.

P.S. Coinmarketcap does not calculate the volume from LiveCoin.net (it is little bit higher there).

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

will it be added to bittrex?

Not anytime soon at least, that i can promise.
Coins that are added on Bittrex need a really high daily volume, and we are far away from that.
Next stop would be C-CEX probably or so on, Bittrex would be the final goal of the exchanges since poloniex is shady nowadays.

Hi everyone,

It's been suggested, by 42 Coin Dev Team, to post on here and outline my situation, to see what the community thinks.

So....

I bought  0.35961526 of 42 Coin a while back on Cryptsy and managed to get it transferred to Cryptopia.nz when Cryptsy went down.

It then became 42 COIN-OLD.

I left it there and didn’t log in for some time.

I've since seen that it was delisted from their exchange. And I saw that a timeframe was given to change it for the new coin.

I contacted Cryptopia support and was advised it was delisted because I missed the deadline and advised to contact 42 Coin Dev Team.

I take full responsibility for this as I am aware it was down to me to resolve this within a certain timeframe. However, I am beating myself up for not checking sooner and trying to see if there's anything I can do.

After speaking with 42 Coin Dev Team, they requested the old coins should be sent over to them to be “burned” as proof. After requesting this from Cryptopia Support, they have made me aware they cannot technically do this because the old wallet is no longer functional.

However, Cryptopia.nz have now confirmed the balance I had of 42 COIN-OLD and confirmed that this is now unrecoverable and in their words burned. They also stated that if needed the 42 Coin Dev Team can contact them directly if needed to confirm this.

I’ve attached screenshot of this communication.

So, finally, VERY KINDLY, 42 Coin Dev Team have now said that if I run this by the 42 coin community, and you guys are ok with it, then they are happy to send me my balance back in the new coin.

So this is my plea, I understand this was my doing and you guys are under no obligation. I can say this would help me hugely and I would very much appreciate it !

Hi, aelpop.

I know that. Welcome back!

The new logo was proposed by aelpop on 10-Jan-2014 at the time when a lot of people believed in 42 and connected with this coin their hopes.

Send me your wallet.dat file to 42-coin/at/protonmail.com.

What's the point of the poll at the top of the thread? It's got a blank question, blank options, no votes, and it's closed. The thread would look better with it removed or replaced with a proper one.

Just in case... for something like this:

Finish as planned, but make additional free coin distribution via faucets, giveaways, etc.: 4VidfRCNtGmaK6vZNQQYGPxfbfCrduefni  -  1.60(0.11)%
Extend for 1 month: 4TLpUKQvEMxAe4QcPDrZEnnHLeYjx5ixsL   - 0 (0%)
Extend for 1 month & make additional free coin distribution via faucets, giveaways, etc.: 4VoUkQ6idjWy6xcp5gpHKfPWezX6HoEbSt  -  0.18(0.01)%
Continue until the unclaimed coins are swapped: 4EKssN8MmBUHs96ZPbTtoxoVFmXkeqRtuP  -  0.34(0.02)%

It can not be removed/added.
