Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency?

I think there is a possibility to be replace by the other altcoins, but it will take a long time of years before that happen. Because the stability of bitcoin now is that bad at all. Therefore, not this time or in our generation now.

Not too sure about that because monero is also looking good although the price have been falling lately, there is actually a possibility but I am not hoping that to happen someday because i have a bigger investment in bitcoin than in altcoins, I believe the future of cryto currency is only bitcoin.

No there isn't a chance. If some cases that bitcoin will be destroyed, all alts will follow the same fate.

Without bitcoin other alts are nothing. Alts role in the crypto world is just to take profits, that is the only reason why there are always new alts.

Correct, i do not see other coins can replace bitcoin, bitcoin is the mother coins in crypto currency that is why the value is very strong than other coin we should continue to used bitcoin to help to increase the existence of bitcoin.

Correct, i do not see other coins can replace bitcoin, bitcoin is the mother coins in crypto currency that is why the value is very strong than other coin we should continue to used bitcoin to help to increase the existence of bitcoin.

Bitcoin is well developed now and already established a good support from the community. I see if bitcoin will end, most people in the community will not be interested now in other alts so just a few will transfer to other coin and maybe eventually will stopped too as time passes by.

It's really hard to imagine that bitcoin may be end soon despite of the strong status today.

Basically I don't think bitcoin will be replaced by another cryptocurrency because the core devs are active and don't let the bitcoin to 'die'.

It is true that the other cryptocurrencies are being developer faster than bitcoin but people do not trust them as much as bitcoin.

There are videos already of developers testing the lightning network and big steps are being taken in the right direction. Once the lightning network is live we will see some serious acceleration in the development, adoption and price, it will be fun to watch the people that are still doubting about getting in.

I would say that the bitcoin price has been quite stable for the past few months. There is always going to be fluctuation in a currency so new but the ups and down are nothing that can't be handled by the average user.

Yeah people who use etherium and another altcoin is just use it gain their bitcoin by trading. so they buy etherium and then change it back to bitcoin. There are so many new cryptocurrency born and die. Bitcoin is only one which never die, that is the fact. So I do not think that bitcoin will be replaced by another cryptocurrency.
