Right now, I can't see how it is a possibility. Every single altcoin depends on Bitcoin. But maybe in the future, after some upgrades, a new coin will rise and surpass Bitcoin. Maybe a rise-only coin that you can sell whenever you want? People would surely invest in a coin like that especially if it's rising exponentially.
Can you explain how every altcoin depends on Bitcoin? Because this is not true. Also a rise only coin, especially one with an exponentially rising, is not possible with the possibility of selling at anytime.

Altcoin does really depend on bitcoin because you cant directly convert your altcoin into fiat because you will need to exchange it first to bitcoin to be converted to fiat.
Bitcoin could be replaced anytime because theres no permanent on this world but for now bitcoin would remain on the top spot for long time for sure.

Bitcoin of course will stay on top for maybe more than decades still. But the altcoins are also starting to be popular too. IF you take a look at some of them which you can compare is that most of the coins that compete to the top with value are the anon coins like XMR and the likes.

Theres also the competition of platforms like ETH, Lisk, WAVES and the rest.

Bitcoin has served the community well during this present time but that doesn't mean It can't be replaced by another cryptocurrency even Me I don't think bitcoin will dominate the crypto world forever but one thing for sure it's not gonna be easy to defeat bitcoin and make it obsolete

You can't say that for sure. The people that have used barter system are thinking that their system was already great and it would take a long time to make it obsolete. When the Lydians have introduced the use of coins, people have started using it. It didn't take that long. Then we had paper money, we change our paper money and it only takes a couple of months for a new paper money to replace the old design.

When bitcoins is finally being used by everybody and the technology has changed a lot, it wouldn't take that long to kill bitcoins when somebody has an idea that's even better than bitcoins. We might be thinking that bitcoin is the best. It's the best for now but definitely it wouldn't be anymore in the future.

For a coin to become the best one and to become a No.1 currency it is not important for the currency to become a rise only but only those currencies will become the best which will be used on most places for services. In that case I do not think that any other currency is that much powerful that it replace bitcoin.

I think it is difficult and near impossible, when people talk cryptocurrency, then they will know bitcoin. I also know that there are many altcoin the technology side is better than bitcoin, but because bitcoin is first then it will not be replaced.

This is obviously not always the case

Since you can in fact convert major altcoins directly to fiat. If you doubt my words, you can check yourself, for example, at btc-e exchange where you can trade a number of altcoins (e.g. Litecoin, Ethereum, and a few others) either for fiat (such as Euro, the US dollar or Russian ruble) or Bitcoin. I guess other exchanges that are trading fiat allow to trade their stack of altcoins directly for fiat too. With the rest of the pack it may be different, though

yuppp that's true , i have an experience when i am asking for a buyer to pay me on dogecoin ,
but he just respond nothing and say have no idea bout it ,
common people only know bitcoin , why? of course it is more popular ,
so if there will be another crypto replace bitcoin , it should be become popular more than bitcoin.

Bitcoin is more popular because it's the first and best cryptocurrency. It's the father of all cryptocurrency. It won't be easy to replace and people are going to know about altcoins because of this forum. Some people who just use bitcoin because of the way of transaction works. It's awesome but not everyone wants to learn about new things.

I am also seeing that people who want to invest in crypto currency first know about bitcoin and after that when they spend more time they come to know about other coins and then they only for the purpose of trade adopt other coins and if that situation will continue none of the coin will get the place of bitcoin.

IMO bitcoin will not be replaced because nowadays is well established and radicated, then otherwise there will be another altcoin more innovative or secure and reliable (and that's looks hard) bitcoin will have long life.
Also other coins like ETH or Monero have a good reputation, there are still under the power of Bitcoin, and that's means a lot...

i think a time will come when bitcoin will be the first priority of the people to use, and not only for the online purpose but in real life also. if we analyse  the bitcoin and other crypto currencies we can come to the conclusion that still bitcoin is the number one currency of the world, and hope that bitcoin will continue its status for ever.

Looking at the present growth percentage of bitcoin , it is probably impossible for any other crypto currency to overtake bitcoins .
It all depends on its users . If they find any other crypto currency to be profitable they will start investing in that crytpo currency .
But that seems to be a hypothetical situation . Bitcoin has never ever let down its users . When the prices fall down , many people
buy bitcoins and when the prices are up again , they sell it . This way they make huge profits. Also , here there are signature campaigns
that pay people for advertising their firm.
This way Bitcoin users earn sufficient amount , making them love bitcoin.
As long as people trust and love bitcoin , no other crypto currency can ever over take or overcome bitcoin.

Not number one currency in the world but, number one cryptocurrency in the world

Saying every altcoin depends on bitcoin is not right I guess, but, majority of those altcoins use bitcoin as a currency of payment in their ICO or crowdfunding, therefore bitcoin have given a big effect to those altcoins and bitcoin will be always used if it's about cryptocurrency.

So altcoins are not really depending on Bitcoin, they are cooperating. Because if the were depending on Bitcoin they would die if Bitcoin would die. Right now they would only change the exchange/Payment-partner when Bitcoin would die. So they are not depended. To deals with Bitcoin makes sense since it is right now the number one crypto, but this is not a dependency.

Well I don't suppose that bitcoin is not going to be replaced by any other cryptocurrency but who knows what will happen. I know it's the leader in the crypto coins world and according to its statistic right now, it seems to be impossible for such a thing to happen. But maybe as time passes by, things will change and new generations will take place and it's unstoppable. So it's hard to say anything.

I do think it's difficult for any cryptocurrencies to take over the place of bitcoin but I don't assume that this is impossible. And there are literally nothing predictable in this crypto world, especially when it comes to bitcoin. It's not gonna happen now for sure, but after a few years or even decades, things won't be the same anymore and so does bitcoin.

This week/month showed to us the power of bitcoin in terms of global acceptance.

If bitcoin can be replaced? Well, it will be an long road to another crypto get that highlight...
I think for any bitcoin life, if bitcoin continue berovolusi according to the times and user trust and continue to use bitcoin, then there will be no other cryptocurrency which will replace the bitcoin
The trust of the people on bitcoin is continuously increasing and therefore they are putting investing their assets in bitcoin and that is the reason that the price of bitcoin is increasing rapidly, hope that the trend of increasing the price of bitcoin will continue for a long time. As long as people keep their trust bitcoin will never get replaced.

yeah offcourse people started to trust bitcoin a lot. But who knows what will happen tomorrow. Bitcoin is such a currency where there is no support. Its growth is in purely common man's trust, thats it. Just imagine if some one tries to hack a exchange or something similar to that happen then people will stop trusting bitcoin and their focus will shift from bitcoin to other altcoins. You cannot say that type of activities will not happen . anytime it can happen. Otherwise its not that easy for other altcoins to replace bitcoins in my opinion.

I think it is difficult and near impossible, when people talk cryptocurrency, then they will know bitcoin. I also know that there are many altcoin the technology side is better than bitcoin, but because bitcoin is first then it will not be replaced.
I think bitcoin is also doing struggle for developing more and to get a higher place so it is not sure that with the struggle of other coins some of the coins will come and will take the place of bitcoin. Currently the supporters of bitcoin are more than that of other coin.
