It's not what I think when I keep gambling even if I lose, in the mind of the gamblers is to chase their loses and to recover it. I don't think we are just gambling to lose, despite of the fact that we are fighting in a losing battle but we are still very optimistic of a win.
That's how positive we are despite no progress at all.

You only do that if you are stupid enough. In the long run , everyone is not going to win therefore dont even think about it. You could always try to however there is a huge chance that you will lose so why bother with it. Even if you are optimist that you could win, it wont help you at all as it is luck based

Tbh when to stop normally varies from persons and to his greed. I have seen many people set goals but for obvious reason end up breaking those because of greed and then end up losing everything.

The only thing that could REALLY help him is HIMSELF. When you lose control on your play, i am sure you will end with the big loss. Actually what he's doing is a smart way to do gambling. He's putting a limit for himself for both winning and losing situations and i think if you can stick to that way of gambling then you'll definitely minimize your losses and maximize earnings. You should be making a big rule, gambling is fun but it's not a joke when times you are losing. Stopping when you are bored is not a good basis, what if you still enjoy despite the fact that you are going out for your budget? That action alone will make it worst for you in terms of your finances and instead of having fun, you will end up being miserable.
