Not everyone is addicted to gambling. People do gamble to make some profit and no one has any intention to lose their money. Yes everyone starts out gambling for fun but then it becomes serious when you start losing some major stakes.

Yes in the opinion too almost 99% gamblers are coming for gambling just to make profits. The remaining 1% of people are also those who had faced the continuous losses previously and changed their aim of why they are coming into gambling. Yes people will choose their gambling reason based upon their experiences.

I have little problem with answer, because almost always when i start playing i play for fun or to test some game or service, but when i gamble i like do that with beer or with glass of something stronger And at the beginning is for fun, but with growing percentage in my blood usually i'm changing my strategy and rise bets - the most common mistake! Later can happen everything Sometimes I win, but mostly i lose.. And next time one more time at the beginning i play only for fun..

In the end people does gamble taking into consideration the potencial winings, but as i dont have time for gamble, and not interested at those, sometimes i roll the yobit dice, with the free coins i claim sometimes, soo its more about profit, if i win great if i loose well next day more free coins to play.

and also some people here has both as their reason to gamble they are aiming for profit in that way they can have a good benefit from it as well as in aiming for fun although they have loss some amount from gambling but still they have made themselves entertain and thrilled while playing. I am sure there are only few people or maybe none who's just aiming for because as we all know that most of people/gamblers are usually aiming for profit it is impossible that you just want to be entertained of course you also want to get profit .

Yeah but if you got $1k in your pocket and you want to gamble just $10, after you lose part of your money don't think you will not go with the rest of your money too. stop gamble immediately and save your winning would never work if you have a plan to gamble regularly in the long term. all your previous winning would just burn dissapeared slowly as you would never win against the house edge in the end. for profit or fun would have a same result in the end.

I wont say it is a better source of entertainment. Usually for the poor, they dont even have any disposable cash in the first place so they should not have the ability to go and gamble. They are using money that they cant afford to lose.
