I actually find world news on reddit to be the best because people actually discuss. I mean liveleak used to be a good source but you really need a stomach to watch some of the stuff on there.

If you are in this forum. You don't believe the news. As simple as that. If you believe the news. You will be watching the news on TV all day long. I wish you were right. I guess you are partially right. But don't estimate the power of mass manipulation. It is very pervasive, and it can also enter this realm. |

No media is independant, they probably all have agendas and write about subjects they have an interest about. If you get information on many medias you'll get a more accurate picture of the truth. (interests cancel between each other  ) Exactly, the media is not all corrupt because some really states the fact and would not want to trick others of believing things that are not true. But still we should be smart when it comes to the media because others only want to distract us from the truth. |

At present, our generation had become more intelligent as we have now easy access to things we weren't able to access previously. Thus, we can do our own research on topics and we are responsible to validate if something we have read or heard in the news is true or not as even the most respected news outlet is still prone to mistakes.

But not all news are true, most news are biased they are manipulators and can twist the truth and everything that they want to change the real content of the news they could get. |

I do not believe in news now , there were many fake news that are being said in television and in social medias , like facebook . Here in our country news in telivisions are biased , the media here are also biased in giving news, and also they were giving some fake news just to have high ratings.
The only solution to this is to get news from diversified sources, including social media outlets such as Twitter. The mainstream media outlets are always biased. And those who try to stay neutral are going to face tough regulations from the government and the politicians. Social media outlets don't have to deal with these things and therefore they are more uncensored. |

NO do not believe the news nor the media. they twist or change the original story just to come up interesting but the thing is it is not really what happen. here in my country Media are corrupt they will do anything for money just to destroy other people.
same here in our country. The media are controlled by the government whether who to take blame or make some one look bad on the eyes of many people. Media has the ability to control people reaction, mind set and the way they look at people, they can make you hate someone that is innocent, or make you love someone who really has a bad attitude. And where you will find the "white media"? Even the social media news is heavily biased and censored. If you are having doubts, then just search news in Facebook. There will be hardly any news articles from the conservative sources. Even the Google News is heavily biased. Not everything you see on the news is trust worthy, we all know there are good and bad journalists, however good journalists are controled by their manager before posting news and bad journalists give the wrong informations just for money, so as an audience, we have to be smart when listen to the news on Tv.

The medias are completely money-minded as they would only publish the news that worth them more money whether the news is accurate and precise or not. However the medias are often interested in making news that may be extraordinary which may draw attentions of their viewers/readers.
