Or do you think media is independent ?

Yes I believe in the news because of the news we can know what happenings around the world , the new places , new things , and it gives us the warning if there is a storm etc.

Media or news served us truly , some of us just blind because of the internet , some say media is fake , how we can say it's fake if our parents watch them and still believes and why you still want to look for news if there is suspended for class.

Well, of course, I think I like to study what is happening in the world, and the news is well curved about all the problems in our world, so it's interesting to know.

Unfortunately we can not say that media is independent. I think there are no absolute categories at all in the world. It is important to analyze news, not to blindly believe.

Although news is an important source of information, i still do not believe in news immediately because there are news that are not true like fake news.

even when I believe they are sincere their ineptitude stays the same, if i'd score people who know what the fk they are talking about on a scale from one to ten, media takes 0.5 which is "not knowing more than it's possible to not know"

I almost never watch the news, much rather watch a movie. Sometimes (very rarely) I flip through the news section on Flipboard on my phone but that's about it. I keep up to date with other news though like tech and science. Regular news is just so boring, it's mostly politics and I can't freaking stand politics. To answer your question I don't believe nor do I disbelieve news reports, I don't care enough to assign brain cells to analyze what's being said  Cheesy
Yes I believe in the news in the TV because they are reporting what is happening around us crime, accident and everything

News makes us passive. They mainly tell us about things that we cannot influence. The daily repetition of news about things that we can do, breaks us as long as we do not accept pessimistic, full of sarcasm and fatalism, the view of the world. In psychology this is called "learned helplessness". It's a small stretch, but I was not surprised to learn that reading the news at least partially contributes to the depression.

Most of them are Jews-owned, or leftist-owned, and so are just pure propaganda. Some nice medias are not controlled. They're all from far-right.
Yeah I still believe in news but not to all of their reports also it depends on who is the reporter and from where they belong. Media is still useful and to not totally believing with all of them is a kind of being ignorant about the truth. Let us always give a chance to those that have a heart to deliver the truth even the their lives is the cause.

I agree with you. I try not to watch too much news. Media is mainly propaganda in almost every country. I actually prefer to watch Spanish or European news over US news. Too many lies on US news. Word of mouth news from true sources are crazy sometimes. They don't put everything in the news but I still prefer it over US news which is super censored and more selective.

It depends on the report or news, when you feel the news somehow related to your situation then you should believe in it..Not all the news are true, sometimes it is biased..

I usually do, I know it's biased however. But I also know how to see through that bias. I read news from different (independent) news outlets from 3-4 different countries, when in doubt - I double & triple check sources.

Most news stations, especially now, tend to exaggerate their stories, and I think something on the Internet can be trusted, at least on television.

I think you're right, even those simple issues turned to be like a serious problem even though it doesn't really help to contribute in the community or in a society, the negative issues are always emphasized and the biased news could easily seen.
