Or do you think media is independent ?

Nowadays it's so difficult to believe in news or social media...there are lots of fake news, people who have power can do everything they want thru news either it is good or bad.

There are no impartial medias in the world. they all have agendas behind them. the rich own the medias, they are 1% of the world.  So they lie to us in order to control us. So I can't believe any of medias in the world,

Sometimes i believe in the news, and sometimes not. Because sometimes it's fake or not true, like a news like 2012 , the year of 2012 they talk about the end of the world. But not true.

The disinformation epidemic sweeping the world these days reflects the economic logic of supply and demand.

Ultimately we are all responsible for what we believe and it is incumbent on us to be our own skeptics of fake news and alternative facts.

A new breed of video and audio manipulation tools allow for the creation of realistic looking news footage.I do not always believe.

Or do you think media is independent ?

Only a very small handful and low budgeted news sources are what you could say "independent" and are true. Big news sources are, how do you say, sheep friendly. Most news sources have become somewhat biased, unbacked facts and company controlled. The most that i believe now from the big news sources are the weather news, and i take it with a grain of salt mind you. My news sources are still the big ones buy i make sure to open my mind and not take them as actual truth

Yes the media is our tool to convey something freely and with the media we can get help to communicate to the public at large or important people in the country.
I believe in the news sometimes because not all the news is true, not all the news is saying the truth. But there are some also that is real. They are saying the truth so for me. It depends

I try to source as many news outlets as possible to get all different sides of the story, then I do my own research to determine what is fact or fiction.  Then I wait a week or two to see what shakes out   And it will almost always be different, and then there is never a correction.

Not all the news we heard and see on  tv or in newpaper or in other media are really true because some of them are fake, some of them are bias, some of them tell half truth, some lies, some are politcally motivated or manipulated you have to be really careful and know the fact so that we will not be confused or get deceive.

Most influential media houses are controlled by the government.
The media is the fourth estate of the realm and cannot be wished
away as they have the power to sway the minds of the populace
with constructive or destructive information.Governments indeed control and mind
what comes out of media broadcasts as not to incite violence or restiveness.
This may not be far from the reason to censorship, policies, laws and lot more
in a bid to control news broadcast.

I generally turned off the news on my services. In the news one negative, propaganda and lies, without this information it is easier to live

I think that most of them are true when we talking about neutral news. Everything associated with countries and wars all over the world probably bullshit.

I do watch the news a lot and I believe in it. The part I usually notify and doubt a little is how they exaggerate things and add some other false issues to the news in a form of branding and making the news interesting
