I am still unmarried so I don't think I will be able to save for them as may be in next few years bitcoin will be replaced by some other currency and in that case it will waste my coins, so I will prefer to spend them on myself.
I think you have to hold bitcoins for them and do not have any doubt for the success of bitcoin.
It is sure that bitcoin will be the currency of future and none of the currency is going to replace it as none of other currency have potential for to compete bitcoin.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

We have  our own  insights regarding  on bitcoins price in  upcoming future and we could freely express  our  own views, well its not bad to save up or not for  some reasons but  one things for sure we  dont really  know  on what would be the future would be on bitcoin. Its  either  it would last or not when the times that we have  grandchildrens.

Bitcoin is a long term project. Therefore it makes sense to save small parts over a long horizon. Do you save Bitcoins for your (grand) child or children?

For those who do not have (grand) children (yet), would you save Bitcoin for them if you would have (grand) children?
Of course i will save bitcoin for my (grand child). Believe it or not, bitcoin will rule the world in a few more decades. And all my grandchild with be rich thanks to my bitcoin which i will give them in the future.

Only time can show us real picture, so without thinking of too long I am enjoying profits at a moment and will try to collect as much as I can, and if my grand children are lucky then they will also experience it in future.

I think it is a good move since the price of Bitcoin is designed to grow over time. The population in our world will become more and more, and that could mean more investors for Bitcoins. The Bitcoin will be scarce and the difficulty doubling whenever there's a halving can also make the Bitcoin in circulation more scarce. Scarcity will give Bitcoins more value.

By the time that your kids or grandkids are able to understand how to use Bitcoins, that will be 20 years from now or even more, the price of Bitcoin at that time will have a large difference from what it is right now. We don't know how much exactly would it be, some people even think that Bitcoins might be dead at that time. We don't know what would happen at those years.

this is a very good idea actually, is a preparation for the family future. Even I don't have kid's yet because I don't have a girlfriend too. But still nothing to loose if I do this idea.

The moment I realized the significance of bitcoin and what the possible value of it would be a decade from now then I know that I would be investing bitcoin for the long term and then possibly when the time comes that I already have children and grand children then i would give it to them as my gift. I believe that ten or twenty years from now, people cannot immediately purchase one bitcoin because the value would be bigger so as early as now, I will save and accumulate bitcoin for my future children and grandchildren so that they will be able to buy what they wanted when the time comes because they have the available funds and maybe bitcoin would already be accepted as payment in the supermarket and most if not all of the stores and there's no need to convert it to fiat.

Its always good to save bitcoins for future as bitcoin will become more popular in future and it will also hold higher price and if we have saved enough coins then even our grand children can take benefits from it.

It's a bit hard to know that, the marketcap nowadays is a joke, 9bi is nothing and we never know the day of tomorrow, for sure some good altcoin can take the gold place of bitcoin.

Don't know how much a bitcoin will worth in the future, but I think it will be less than 10x, so you can invest this money in any other thing with less risks.

Yes ,you're right sir .saving bitcoins for them especially for future use in their education. Education for them is the best thing that we can gave them ,also educating them the uses of bitcoins for them to know how hard is to earn money .

Compared to the number of people using Bitcoins at the moment and the number of people using other payment systems in the world, this market cap is okay IMHO. But it also shows what the market cap could be when Bitcoin is becoming one of the major payment systems world wide. Then the current market cap is really a joke. But, it is still a long journey to reach this.

I will not block my money by just holding some Bitcoins for so long, instead I will prefer to trade to grow and to make some money out of that amount. Future is unseen and don't know what reserves for Bitcoin so having good use of money is modest way to deal. It is not for me to throw some money and let it lock in wallet for years from now.
why not. imagine you grandparents bought a piece of gold for you. they looked it away and forgot about it. they did not mind it and nobody was missing anything in their lives. today for you this peace of gold could be worth much more and would be quite nice to have. why not just look some bitcoin away and give it to them in 20-30 years. beside that you can still do whatever you like with the rest of your money.

It depends on what  kind of person we are, some  are not sensible enough to   think of these things   because they  dont  mind    regarding  on their  grandchildrens  because they are thinking  to theirselves  which they like to make  benefit on bitcoin they have and dont intend to share. lol
You are right I have saw some people in my life who did not care about their grandchildren even for their own children and spend each and every penny on their luxurious and saved nothing for the future of their children.

Everyone think and plan for their future and as new generations are the part of every person’s future so everyone must have to think for them and have to plan for their life also and have to keep what they consider as precious.

you sound so selfish and without any faith in bitcoin Smiley

bitcoin is just starting to grow and become bigger, it is not a century old technology to become outdated and be replaced with something new this easily.
He is a higher ranked member but I don’t know that why he still do not have faith on bitcoin.
I think he is currently not matured as he mentioned he is unmarried. At a certain age every one come to a period when he does not remain selfish.

Well I don't have a special someone right now in my life, and I don't plan to have one until I'm really a successful person overall and I think it's a great idea to keep bitcoin as is for future saving purposes. Studying bitcoin's value appreciation over the years, I can say that it has a big potential to boom when I am already in my 30s, so again I am getting a fraction of it every paycheck and keep it.

.

That's good if you are saving it for your future and maybe for your future children/grand children... But I think no need to save a bitcoin for your granny...They don't need it and most probably it would not sound money to them...Grand parents don't need those... Anyway, I am also planning on saving bitcoin for the future but for now, no plan on starting it yet... Maybe later on...  Smiley

haha Yeah don't save bitcoins for your grand parents, maybe they just laugh at you because they dont know what are you talking about. But maybe for your grand children, it really a big help for them especially for their education  Smiley

of course everyone wants to save their bitcoin and used for the future so it is helpful, but you know the problem many people have is they have a need and a lot of other things that have to be paid, and it does not matter if you have a large income bitcoin? But what about someone who earn little like us
