My questions have not been answered for several days even tho bitbook answered other questions in this thread. I will quote myself to hopefully get an answer:
I have used bitbook for some esports games in the last 2 days. However, it seems to me like they are offering the exact same games as pinnaclesports but with worse odds while offering less information about themselves, which increases the risk when putting money into bitbook because they might just disappear from one day to another.
The way I see it, the only reason why one would use bitbook over pinnaclesports is that pinnacle doesn't accept bitcoin - yet!
However, pinnacle accepts webmoney and its kind of easy to exchange BTC to webmoney (yes, there are some fees but they are minimal and with frequent betting the better odds more than make up for it).
So I gotta ask this:
Why would I use you guys over pinnaclesports? It can't be the "we accept bitcoin and they don't" because that would immediately ruin your business model the moment pinnacle accepts bitcoin - which I don't think any entrepreneur should rely on.
Additionally, pinnaclesports it the more serious book. They offer way more information about themselves, you can easily sue them if necessary and they can't just hide all the money because they have a great amount in banks making it hard to run away with it.
So I ask again, why should I use you guys over pinnaclesports? I think in order to stay competitive you have to offer slightly better odds than they do to compensate for the lack of the possibility to easily get hands on you should something go wrong and to compensate for them being more serious in general.
So what is it? I am really looking forward to your response and maybe you even tell us something about your future plans
Edit: Don't get me wrong, I am all for a site like this, I just don't see how you plan to grow, what the special deal is that makes people choose you, especially if the big players in the scene start accepting bitcoin.
esports are gone?
Yes, we have suspended e-sports. Unfortunately they had relatively low interest, but required a high amount of our attention.
This is quite unfortunate. However, I still had an e-sports bet pending on a game that has not been played yet and the bet just got canceled by bitbook. This is exactly the case where being able to easily sue them would be necessary, but not only will it be quite hard to get hands on them while they can hide/run away with peoples money, they also have less worse odds than the big players who have to comply with lots of regulations and therefore have more running costs. With less running costs you guys still offer worse odds, you don't honor placed bets, and you don't even answer a simple question that has been asked several days ago while answering other question, probably the ones that you like.
I have withdrawn my balance to nitrogensports.
If you ever offer e-sports again and offer either enough information to sue you in case you do unlawful things or, to compensate for that, if you adjust your odds to your lower running cost because of not having to comply with regulations/AML/KYC etc., then I might come back. But for the time being, I'm done.
However, would still like to get an answer to my previous post and I am sure other do so as well
