Our man is back online here on the forums Smiley Hopefully good news ahead!

Yea hopefully he says whether the site will ever be back or not so I don't have to worry about it anymore. If it's gone for good at least I will know I don't have to worry or have hope of it coming back.

Send me some BTC! I will gladly inform you they arent coming back, and in good time too Smiley

BitBook has been hit with a large DDoS atack that knocked out parts of our hosting provider's datacenter. We are working with our hosting provider on restoring our service.

Wow I never saw this coming...

Few weeks ago, 2.5 Bitcoin went mysteriously missing from this shitty sportsbook.

Why in the hell would anyone with half a brain still put their money with these guys in beyond me...

Mt. Gox of sportsbooks

AVOID!!!

Overstatement.  2.5 BTC wouldn't be worth stealing from you.   The house would get that 2.5 btc anyway eventually.   I've left a floating balance of between 1 and 5 bitcoin on here since August... nothing was ever stolen.

JEremy, I am skeptical of your story, and always have been.  Post the evidence that it was Bitbook who did this or stop with your nonsense.  You shoul dhave a screenshot of your bet history, showing the money you won, and then do a shot showing your current balance and that you didn't withdraw the btc to some other account.

I am calm. I just want to place my bet ... and my btc are all belong to bitbook

Why do people do this?  It takes about 30 seconds to create a wallet, withdraws are instant, deposits take a few minutes, there isn't really any good reason to not cash out daily from every bitcoin site.

I cash out all profits every Friday on bitbook.  Some users handicap sports for regular income thus do it around the clock.  The only time I'm not finding value plays to wager on is when I'm asleep.  Coincidentally this happened when I was asleep.  So there's that.

Without an announcement?

Almost 24h with the web down ... they have run away. We lost again, the same when a tennis player is injured and they marked as lost.

Do you understand anything at all about sports betting? Of course if a player retires all wagers except the noneyline are void, so if your complaining about a player retirement not in your favour go find another book that doesn't say MLs will stand for retirements after the first set...

There has been an announcement.  This is the official means of communication.  This forum.  The server was DDoS'ed.  They can't just open it back up any time.

That's great, but there still is no practical reason to keep a large roll anywhere other then your personal wallet.  You can deposit around the clock and withdraw around the clock also.  With fiat sites I understand, because it's a hassle to cash out, deposit the check, reload your account when you get short.  But with bitcoin everything is instant or pretty close so you can protect yourself way better.

Anyway, I was mainly talking to the guy whose saying his entire roll was on one site.

A crystal ball? No, it's called handicapping.  I don't bet to lose.

Myself and others do it to make money.

Ya know... profit.  Make more than you invested.

Win more than ya lose.  Profit. The reason we're all here.

I cash the profits out from the week every Friday.  Don't need a crystal ball, though it would be nice.

Oh, I see.
No need to work, just make millions betting.
I assume you're knee deep in dirty women drinking fine wines on your own huge private yacht right now then.
