When can we expect an official announcement from the team? Not worried about this project. But some official announcements would go a long way Maybe the OP was with a newbie account when this thread was created and that's why there's no official announcent from the team.

You should expect people to dump below 3k because some people are okay with a small profit (10-20%), some are easily scared and others just simply need the money for real life expenses. These things are perfectly normal, if a few people sell 10BTC, that's not a dump, its one of the three I mentioned however right now that would affect the chart by 10,15% and that creates some meaningless fud.
which is correct those who are already satisfied with small earnings are already dumping their shares not realizing that the project still young and theres always a room for progress just needed to place some good entry while the price still cheap good luck dev team. Bounty hunters most of the time dump, because they are narrow minded. The project is new and look how high it is ranked in the coin market cap. Just think what will happen if the project is rolled out properly? What can it do, what will it bring? My guess is it will come close to ETH itself. I doubt if bounty hunters dumping can affect the price, there is only 100k SNGLs token issue for bounty and looking at the ratio to the 6million tokens available in the market presently is it not significant at all

I am guessing it has something to do with all Bittrex wallet issues caused by the attacks on the ETH blockchain. Not being able to deposit and withdraw tokens does tend to make a lot of people hesitant to buy.

Is there a slack channel created yet for Singular? If not, is it being contemplated? Would be very good for the community.
Yes, slack channel should be on the way. The team is planning out new ways to keep the community updated and vibrant. For now we will have to stick with telegram till we get updates from the team. https://telegram.me/singulardtv I think we should stick to Telegram only, because with Slack, chat history is truncated after a limit. Second, it's a hassle to register your email address all the time. And thirdly, Telegram tends to weed out the trolls because each Telegram account has to be linked to a mobile phone number.

That's a great insight. We've been planning on making our slack public soon and also keep telegram going. With slack - because security breaches/hacks are so easy and common - every user would be required to use 2fa, which could potentially cut down on trolling as well? There's different considerations to both and we're currently weighing them.

Telegram doesn't encrypt messages by default. The encryption that they do use is "homegrown" and as such it can't really be determined if it works or not. Even then, the encryption that they do use can only be enabled for secret chats - which I am unsure is preferable for an official brand channel. Source - http://gizmodo.com/why-you-should-stop-using-telegram-right-now-1782557415Slack is good (despite limiting history) and there are a few good alternatives (such as Rocket).

Back in 2014, I was one of the first to use Slack for coin communities. It was obviously a lot better than IRC. It was also great for dev teams to collaborate and chat on with all those plugins. However, like I said, you can't search back on old conversations (3 days was already old when you have 1,000+ members). If you're gone for week, you can't backread anymore. Whereas in Telegram, even with the busiest of chat groups, you can always read them all. I think it's best to use Slack for actual developers who are collaborating and Telegram for the general users. I'm mildly confused as to why you linked to an article comparing Telegram with Whatsapp...and centered on activism to boot. It's a complete distortion of the context and addresses not really much that I said. That said, I don't really care which platform is used. I just don't think that Telegram is professional, they don't use adequate or proper encryption (which seems like a basic point on a crypto currency forum), and Slack is searchable (which more or less negates the only presented reason for not using them). I'll be done talking the point though.

That is not what I expected. Slack is the most popular way to have some sort of contact with the devs beyond the general twitter type posts. Why worry about trolls at all, people are influenced more by trolls when slack access is not available.

Slack is the best option for group, company communication, telegram is not private one, our phone number can be seen by others, very annoying let other see our number
