Wow i never knew it could be reversed i just googled it and its true, If planting tree to reverse global warming can really i suggest every household plant a tree at least and they should clap down on illegal logging. That's rampant in Africa.

The planting of trees is good, but in fact the plants produce oxygen in the process of photosynthesis approximately as much as they consume themselves. The climate of the planet is changing, but the person to this is almost not involved. Most of the impact on global warming is solar activity.

Oh god! Are you saying that the global warming is being caused by the solar activity? This is the most silliest excuse I have ever read. The Sun is more than 5 billion years old, and any solar activity spans for a period of tens of millions of years. It is not a sudden phenomenon.

I think these kind of people are really ignorant and just care for themselves not thinking about others. Here in our place every season we make some way to reduce some changes. Like we plant bamboo trees along the side of rivers every rainy seasons and plant trees at mountain side every sunny seasons, it might be a little help, but it can create big differences.

Some of the most important things are simple lifestyle changes that, if we can all commit to, will create a huge reduction in our ecological footprint.

What's the alternative coal-fired power plants? Solar and wind electricity is expensive and its too small so she could replace coal. Nuclear and hydroelectric power do not bring less harm to the environment than coal. Your suggestions please.

My suggestion is to use nuclear energy. Apart from isolated incidents such as Chernobyl and Fukushima, nuclear power plants have never caused any sort of damage to the environment (i.e if used carefully).

Well yes and electric cars too but what about the multi million dollar oil companies, the whole modern world has adopted and running on fossil fuel, it's really, really hard to make that transmission. That's why I ask Have we gone to far now to make the transmission to green way of living?

One of the alternatives for gasoline and diesel oil is bio-diesel (such as Jatropha oil). But surprisingly, the major corporations have shown very little interest in this sector, which is having a lot of potential.

the government is only concerned with profits for them without thinking about the impact that would be acceptable for the future. if a newer technology could save the world but the technology can not be profitable for them, then they will use even though they are aware that the technology will be very useful for the future.

Sun a source of energy not a source of global warming. Global warming is happening due to the increase gases release into the atmosphere such as carbon dioxide, oxides of nitrogen, methane. All these gases are produced by our factories and power plants and causes the increase in the overall temperature of earth. By planting trees we can some overcome global warming as trees absorb carbon dioxide.

Since the technological era, a number of manufactured foods increased a lot and not anymore the natural kind. Well, it's kind of hard to always kill animals just for food but that's the cycle of life and being natural is not always beneficial to man. Sometimes you just have to accept the consequences that can happen when you do some kind of decision.

yes,we individuals must unite together and fight to save our planet.If we aer united,then government will hear our words and act upon it.Recently,in india in a state named tamil nadu,people together fought against methane project and stopped it.

Yah if everyone will have unity I think the earth will save to any pollotuion and many more. I hope the government do the first step to save our planet. As indibidual you can a simple way like put your trash in trashcan or garbage bag dont throw any trash in sea or everywhere.  If we combined the little help it can create big result .
