This is how we will go down in history. Or we do nothing and we will be remembered as the lazy generation who did nothing or we can unite (regardless of race and religion) and make a difference..

This is no joke. Our future generations will remember us with hatred, for not leaving the planet inhabitable for them. Most probably they will be forced to flee to some other planet in the solar system.

We are too selfish and do not think about our future generations who do not have enough resources on this planet and they will have to flee in search of a better life. And on other planets, they may not be able to use all this money that we leave to them and they will hate us there.

In my opinion the government should do much more to protect nature and our planet. It is the government that sets the ground rules for companies to work and people to live in. There is no excuse to keep burden the next generations.

Well maybe it coupd happen if we do not do anything to help our environment.  Maybe now climate change can still be okay with us humans.  But if it persist maybe this earth will going to be so hot that all the inventions cannot do anything.  But it will be a thousand years to come so we will not experience that.

It seems to me that now that you have not made rulers, with your favorite contracts about the frequency of the environment and the temperature control of the planet, it will not be good anyway. And the whole point is that the state continues to throw harmful substances into the atmosphere and pollute other things with the planet.

There are multiple reasons why the big businesses are not much interested in environmental issues. First of all, it makes them less competitive. For example, if a company in the US is forced to obey all the environmental regulations, it may not be able to compete with similar firms from Mexico or China, who are not obliged to obey such regulations.

I think basically if left to our own devices humans will destroy the environment completely including ourselves. However I do feel some optimism, because I think the exponential rates of change within certain technologies could be what saves us from completely making our own home uninhabitable. However it wouldn't surprise me to see many species die off and extreme changes and events. At this point that seems pretty much inevitable.

This situation exists in many countries. Money rules the world, and incomes and the environment are not compatible. We are all hostages of big business. Not only the environment but our lives depend on them so they dictate the terms.
