Ive heard about Bitcoin on and off for a while now. Finally after reading abut satoshidice in the media I have decided to focus some software development on Bitcoin projects.
Does anyone around have any great ideas but cannot put it together? Im a developer and also a few friends also we just freelance.
Im looking forward to the future of bitcoin and what I can build / develop

Mario

I am running the reference client, bitcoin-qt, and my bitcoin.conf file contains the line
    onlynet=IPv6

My peers.dat file should only contain ipv6 addresses.  I would like to have a utility that will export / import the peers.dat file.

This is a suggestion only for an interesting project, I'm not offering to pay.

I try to be respectful and informed.

Hey guys my Real name is Josh and I've been around and collecting btc for about 2.5 years. Really got into ATI cards and tweaking/farming them.

My background is web development. I came here to surround myself with smart people and to find others who have the same dream as to create a website to host my mining pool at. I have the hardware, speed, and datacenter to keep a high capacity stable one running, but I'd like to find a small team that would help create a newer generation of site(s) for a miner to come to and use to pitch in on the bitcoin network and earn.

I hope I can meet some people who are really wanting to create a mining pool with a kick butt website to back it up! I have a background in web dev, SEO, linux and FreeBSD. shoot me a message if you wanna know more about how you can become part of the team and help start what I want to be the best built mining btc site for the client/end-user!

Hi I am christopher north owner of northoutboards and the facebook page bitcoin friends. I sell salvaged pleasure boat parts on ebay and have been selling bitcoins for the last 2 1/2 months. I am signing up to this site to product source. I do not like the exchange and think that is just another bank. Bitcoin is supposed to be p2p not p2ex2p. I dont like the hassle and I dont like the fees. I have/had a local bitcoin vendor that was selling me coins but he got greedy on me. I sell an average of 40 to 50 coins a day right now but it has been growing faster and faster. I need coins from trusted suppliers. I am an open book anything you want to know about me just ask. On my page bitcoin friends I uploaded my picture ID so you can see that it is me. I really am not into games or scamming or any other bs I just want to grow my business and the community. The main reason that I got into bitcoins is to undermine the banking sector and defund the government. Thanks for reading my post and let me know what yow think any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

I'm from a YouTube channel in the UK called Truthloader. I've seen us mentioned in a couple of places on the forum but I'm basically here to tell people that tonight at 7PM GMT we have a live debate on our channel with Gavin Andresen, Birgitta Jonsdottir and other guests. I wanted to let people in the forum know that this event was happening so that they could come watch and get involved in the discussion.

The link (if I'm allowed to post this) is www.youtube.com/truthloader but hopefully if I escape newbie world before tonight I can post the direct live link in the forums prior to the debate.

Would be great to see everyone/anyone there!

Thanks,

Grace Cheesy

Hello Bit People  Grin   (omg install some descent smilies, SMF default ones suck)

As of today I'm brand new to bitcoins and I'm already addicted (at least to the principal)

I'm looking forwards to understanding how it all works and more importantly trading, I have a web page up with all my contact info , eMail, Skype, etc etc so I'll add it to my profile when I have 10 posts.
