Hi Ants,
my wallet doesn't show my balance and if i go to antch.in and check my balance i see a wrong one. Any suggestions?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Did you try opening your database in rebuild mode and/or rebuild the index when your wallet is opened? if i go to antch.in and check my balance i see a wrong one. Any suggestions?
Do you have many addresses? For instance, if you participated in the ICO you had one address. When you created your wallet, you had a second; and if you did transactions, it probably got used as a change address. So did you check all the addresses from your wallet on the explorer? |

http://antcha.in/ is the unofficial block explorer. It is not updated and always shows the wrong balance after a few transactions. The team-supported is http://antchain.xyz/ which is faster. |

I have a similar problem, I loaded my web wallet today and it's not syncing at all, 0%, and showing no balance, any ideas ? |

Now i see my balance on my wallet. But i still got a serious problem. i did a transaction on the 12/27/2016 of 11067 ANTS to my Bittrex account but now i see there was second transaction at the same time of 9776 ANTS. The second one i haven't done!!!! Very strange and i really don't know how this could happen!  Is it possible to find out to which wallet this 9776 ANTS went? You had 20843 on ATa..., you then sent 11067 to AYm..., when you did that, the rest of your balance (the change) was sent to AbE.... In your wallet, this address should also appear. But this change adress did not appear in my wallet. How can i refresh it? That's odd because it should be your second address (at least). When you created the wallet, an address was automatically created with it, you then imported your private key to add your ICO address so you should at least have two addresses. Once synced and with the wallet open, try clicking on Wallet > Rebuild Index. |

Ok now i got it! I restored my accounts. Now i have 5  Back up the private keys of your addresses, just in case (you damage your wallet database). Right click on an address, then View Private Key and save what's in the WIF field. Cool  , you are welcome. |

Antshares is a good project and in NO way a scam. Many a times price on exchanges does not reflect on the quality and work of the project as crypto markets are basically trading cum volume game. Everyone wants to make more btc and hold it rather than holding to a certain crypto token.
I have seen many scams happen lost money too, traded too and went long too in many projects and trust me going long with your investments yields the best profit.
As for the wallets, i could sync it after routing my vpn to hongkong and it got done in 8 hours or odd, if you have a faster internet connection it should take you less.
Also a word for the new guys who have come into crypto and the ones with anxiety disorder. Please be patient before giving up on a cryto project because CRYPTO IS A BAD BITCH, SHE WOULD TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LAUGH ON YOUR PATHETIC EXISTENCE because after you have sold 99% chance it would pump up!

That is so true !!
I have learned that myself from bitter experience, crypto is the ultimate market in 'fear and greed' and 'buy low sell high', if you can be patient and buy your chosen coin after it has collapsed in price and then wait you WILL be rewarded hansomely.
From my experience, the short-term price movements of these coins are not because of the underlying technical attributes or any other 'intrinsic' value, they are due purely to greed and fear, as such they follow very well the Elliot Wave principle, if you don't know anything about that then I suggest you learn about it because it will make you much more successful in your crypto investments. Good luck to everyone !
