What is the relationship between ANS and ANC?  I hold ANS but unfamiliar with ANC.

Consider it as "dividend" of holding ANS. Also ANC is little same as "gas" in Ethrereum. More in Whitepaper Wink
So do I get ANC because I hold ANS?

Yes ANC would be the currency of the platform basically, also similar to Factom and entry credits or most recently Gnosis and WIZ. The platform will have fiat gateways so it's not that you need ANC to register an asset either, but they will be burnt AFAIK and return to a pool to be distributed again to ANS holders.

I checked ANC is always needed to create asset (Extra Service Charge Collected by Antshares Holders). Fiat can be used for accounting charge (or it can be completely without charge) instead, so this applies after asset is created (e.g. credit points) and data is written within asset in bulk amounts so it can be charged free/fiat/anc.

Then it says also,

"Extra service charge will not be collected by anyone, but destroyed immediately and back to
undistributed status. Through the distribution of ANC, they will ultimately be re-distributed
to all ANS holders proportional to their shares.
"

vs.

"In the first year (Block No. 0-No. 2,000,000), 8 ANC will be generated by every new block. In the second year (Block No. 2,000,000-No. 4,000,000), 7 ANC will be generated by every new block. With this pace of decrease (-1 ANC per year), in the 8th year, only 1 ANC will be generated by every new block. This 1-block-1-ANC pace will continue since then, till the 44,000,000th block in the 22nd year, fulfilling the 100 million total sum of ANC. ANC shall cease to be generated after that."

I am not sure if we have contradiction here because how ANC can be ultimately re-distributed without "double-issuance". After the last block fulfils the total amount of 100 million ANC, we should have ANC exiting/exited from circulation (through Extra service charge) and marked to undistributed status. On the other hand generation/distribution/issuance (are these the same(?) concept) "period" has ended so shall these destroyed ANC die off growingly or do we have another generation/distribution/issuance system as well?

I'm speculating since I'm not a dev and not chinese so information is a little hard to understand. What I think is that the platform will accept fiat gateways and will charge customers with fiat kinda like Factom charges their customers in entry credits (which are around $0.001 I think per credit). This will burn the equivalent amount of ANC needed to register an asset or other functions. I'm guessing if you hold ANC you can use the platform directly too but the exchange itself could be more complicated (again similar to Factom).

If you follow NEM developments closely, which became big in Japan, I think Antshares will follow in the same path as NEM did. Now, NEM's marketcap is already $1.9 billion.

Antshares' marketcap is just $31m. If Antshares only achieved moderate popularity in China, maybe 16% of NEM's marketcap ($300M), that's 10x from current price of 37k satoshis.

Well, I think Antshares is a good bet, best risk/reward ratio and still cheap now as compared to buying NEM now.

Yep, I agree with you. It's just been flying under the radar for so long, at least in the Western front. If they are able to market their Smart Contracts and keep constant communications going on a global scale, I'm sure it can reach towards 1 billion market cap at least.

For now just patiently holding Smiley

This coin has a bright future. Is it possible to store ANS on ledger or trezor?

When I try to access the Antshares website I get the alert:

"Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from www.antshares.org (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID"

Any idea what's up, or how to access the site? The address I'm going to is https://www.antshares.org/

You are using Chrome. Site is not made "chrome friendly" which require some meta to be added by devs (https://www.google.fi/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwioi5X_gYDUAhUFlpQKHakHCE8QFggiMAA&url=https%3A%2F%2Fdevelopers.google.com%2Fweb%2Fupdates%2F2016%2F10%2Favoid-not-secure-warn&usg=AFQjCNHXd0x89Yn45ZTakQSEUcCDfDkW3Q&sig2=ZKTWJg_8LRRJuc8tUYL5Pw) . I have been waiting for ANT to be distributed to my wallet for over a week now. Are the Devs still actively transferring tokens purchased during ICO?

Looking forward to the reception of the start-up competition sponsored by government arm: The Shanghai Science and Technology Committee.

Post some photos if you can, thanks. And then on to the launch of the Smart Contracts 2.0.

But keeping shares get you coins right?
Is it "worth it"?

You don't need to run a node for that, you just need to be in control of your own private keys. It costs nothing, so it's obviously worth it unless you expect ANS price to go down and/or to be unable to sell the received ANC for a good price.

Best strategy for you is to dump your coins now and chase pumps, you may get 2x to 3x with those other coins.
