ATTENTION: Antshares Windows wallet users As usual no help from the dev team. If you plan to upgrade your wallet to the latest version, don't let it sync the blockchain on its own, it will take forever. Download the bootstrap file at https://www.antshares.org/client/chain.acc.zip and unzip to the installation folder. And then delete the "chain" folder. Run AntsharesCore and it will sync very fast under 7 minutes. From there, the unzipped file "chain.acc" will automatically be deleted and a new "chain" folder will exist. Thanks for the info. Is the text of the interface of this wallet in English? Also what is the advantage of holdings ANS in the wallet instead of on an exchange? Yes, English. The advantage is you get to receive Antcoins which is supposedly the coin with utility and also still has low coin supply. Thanks,so how do you receive these Antcoins? Do you need to stake with the wallet running 24/7 or something. Also are you entitled to Antcoins even if one bought the Antshares off an exchange? Since Antshares is NOT PoW or PoS, all you have to do to earn Antcoins is to keep ANS in an address you control, no need to have a wallet running. After a number of blocks has passed, you can claim Antcoins entitled to you via wallet. You're just giving away Antcoins if you keep Antshares in exchanges. So far I earned 5% worth of Antcoins since the beginning if they are equal in value with Antshares. Antcoins are the real profit maker if you truly understand how Antshares work. |

So we just hit aound the ICO valuation. Knowing it, this spike isn't that much of a surprise.
I advise to not get rid of old wallet version. It helped me out to regain acces to my ANS when after update new one somehow didn't want to work right...

I bought some ANTS long time ago and now it's going up. So I should hoard in wallet instead of Trex to collect some more? (Didn't do any DD before investing). Is there working Mac Wallet? Thanks!

Devs, when did exactly we receive ANTCOINS ? - The first day after ICO, directly written with the Antshares adress ? - or the first day the antshares were received in the wallet, AFTER claiming ANS ? Thanks |
