Hi,

So the amount of ANC coin they send depend on the amount of ANS you hold? Do they send once or periodically?

Kind regards,
Utku

Really?

Microsoft? Ooooh. Maybe should hold these coins then. However, NEO is not superior towards ANT.

One ANC is currently worth slightly less than $1. It is traded here for the moment: https://www.19800.com/market/cny_anc/

The amount of ANC is displayed under the 'Asset' tab. Every 1000 ANS probably generates about 1/3 of an ANC daily. To see the full amount of ANC allocated to you, you need to be synchronized. To claim them, you apparently need to send the entire amount of ANS to your own wallet address and then they become claimable. To do that, go to the 'Advanced' tab in your wallet and click on 'AntCoin Claim'.

You can also read the following thread about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/Antshares/comments/6eddt1/antcoins_anc_distribution_and_claim_tutorial/

webwallet does not have this feature from where I can see. There is however a ANC balance under ANS balance. No where 2 claim though. Guess I've staked 2 shortly 2 receive anything x)

The MAC wallet is in development. On Linux, you can in the meantime use Virtual Machine and run the Windows wallet via it.

Dear Community,

Antshares is rebranding to NEO.

The team will update all software and documentation in 2017 Q3. Community members do not need to take any action other than downloading new client/app when it is ready.

This is a rebranding campaign. There will be no new token issued or new ICOs. We will do our best to roll out the upgrade smoothly.

Thank you!

I did a transaction from an exchange wallet to a private address on private wallet, I sent 16.68 ANT but on my wallet I see only 16 ANT. Same things on the block explorer...where is the 0.68 amount ? Where I can see the decimal part of my assets ?

Antshares does not do decimals.

So, did I miss the memo on ANC block reward schedule...? Okay, I will admit, I have not paid much attention since the ICO ended beyond claiming ANS.

Any link on the reduction from 8 to 7 ...?

Bittrex is allowing fractional trades which should not exist. Then again, Bittrex is also charging excessive transaction fees for the moment. Hopefully in the future they will charge more BTC and no ANS/NEO or charge ANC or another currency instead. The good news is that the new trade platform called Binance should go live aound the 15th of July and they resolve all these issues, so Bittrex might perhaps be making itself trivial by the way they handle these things. ANC is divisible. ANS/NEO is not.

I think it is all in the Whitepaper:

"Issuance of AntCoins

AntCoins are generated with every new block. The initial amount of ANC is zero while it will grow to 100 million after 22 years. The generation gap of every other block is 15 seconds, so it takes 1 year for 2 million blocks to generate.

In the first year (Block No. 0-No. 2,000,000), 8 ANC will be generated by every new block. In the second year (Block No. 2,000,000-No. 4,000,000), 7 ANC will be generated by every new block. With this pace of decrease (-1 ANC per year), in the 8th year, only 1 ANC will be generated by every new block. This 1-block-1-ANC pace will continue since then, till the 44,000,000th block in the 22nd year, fulfilling the 100 million total sum of ANC. ANC shall cease to be generated after that.

With this pace, 16% of the ANC will be created in the 1st year, 52% through the 4th year while 80% through the 12th year.

ANC will be written into the corresponding ANS addresses proportionally. ANS holders could claim these ANC to their ANS address anytime they wish to. For example, a shareholder who has 1% of all the ANS could acquire 8*0.01=0.08 ANC in every block of the 1st year, meaning 460.8 ANC everyday."
