From looking at the code, it appears to be SHA256D. Some technical aclarations: - PoW is calculated by a Double Sha 256 (like Bitcoin) - New block Time average is 300 seconds - Each new block creates 5 new accounts, the first one with reward + fee - You can use Seckp256k1 , secp384r1, secp283k1 and secp521r1 for your private keys - After a block is generated, must wait 100 new blocks before make an operation to new generated accounts - There is no hard coded limit on operations inside a blockchain - It's made with Pascal Language (v1 source code needs Delphi 2010), available at Github Finally: - Searching for Lazarus developers... ;-)

the main node is being blacklisted and the only thing else i noticed is the deviation went negative recently other than that mines been mining regularly since launch maybe thats why i dont need the main node? i see others with me only a few tho
Sorry. Main node is an old Windows XP ... I've reseted it! Wait for 1-2 hours and your node will automatically reconnect.

So how many total coins?
- 100 Pascal Coins for each new block (avg 5 minutes), including 5 accounts (only first will have reward, others will be for miner with 0 pascal coins inside). Pascal Coin has a maximum of 4 decimals. (100.0000) - Reward will decrease every 420480 blocsk (avg 4 years). 100 -> 50 -> 25 -> 12.5 ... -> 1 (Min reward is 1 Pascal coin) - 5 Accounts generated every new block - Lost coins can be recovered by miners if in 420480 blocks owner of account has no made operations (... for example, if loosing Private key) - After a new block is generated, must wait 100 blocks prior to operate with those accounts - Operations include a Payload, with a maximum of 256 bytes length. Payload can be public or encrypted only for dest account. - No maximum of operations inside a new block Stay informed at @PascalCoin

From looking at the code, it appears to be SHA256D. too bad, this is wasted for a new coin like this, i thought it was something not so generic, any sha256 is doomed to fail and be a shadow of bitcoin

Sorry. Main node is an old Windows XP ... I've reseted it! Wait for 1-2 hours and your node will automatically reconnect. That sounds awfully centralised. I got my wallet syncing since you reset your main node, but I can't get it to mine. I opened port 4004 and turned on NAT but the wallet still says it's not mining. editNow the blacklisted IPs problem has surfaced again. Does that mean your old Windows XP main node needs resetting again before anyone apart from a select few can sync or mine? There were only about three hours when it was possible for me to sync since your last reset. Reason: Invalid operation: Autosend Operation:ERROR ERROR:2 ERROR TEXT:Your IP is blacklisted

If it does there's no point me mining it because someone with a more powerful miner will soon start mining all the coins. ps This error message is incomprehensible, it's impossible to work out what caused the error by reading it. This looks interesting! Tried mining with port 4004 open but I'm only getting connections to the servers and not other clients so no mining happening. Any suggestions?
Edit: I'm seeing a lot of access violations in the logs, don't know if that's relevant.

Hi Dev! Starting from the bottom to create "(yet, another one)" coin, is not a challenge of little value, so in any case I congratulate you. Before going into further details I would like to better understand the prospect of this significant effort you are making. The design of this new currency, which it wants to be: a) A "simple" proof of concept that it is an end in itself? b) A limited prototype, you need to prepare something different, which you have already started to design? c) The advanced stage of a defined project, but not yet totally evolved? d) Or this is in effect the final stage (or almost all) of the project, then a valid coin ready to be used for real, and to land to the Exchanges? TIA ps: Watch out for the "List index out of bounds".
