Claymore v6 is a blessing !!! Now, ZCash came a lot more profitable ! It is now even twice more profitable than Ethereum ! I gained an overal of 160 H/s on 2x RX 470 and 2x R9 380 ! Calymore Kiss.

In the end, which one appear to you to be the more reliable : Nanopool or Flypool ?
(in terms of reported hashrate accuracy, effective payment etc ...)

This is what I have heard from zcash forums
Flypool hash rate is all over the place but payouts are on time
Nana pool hash rate is stable but payouts sometimes get delayed

I mine at flypool and I can say payouts are on time and hash rate is up an down

My rig is doing about 700h/s according to claymore, but Nanopool show something closer to 600 than 700.
Will try flypool to compare.

NB : I have many payout all the day from Nanopool , no worries about it. But not sure to be paid as much as I should !

I havent used nanopool but can share my experience with flypool.  Yes, the reported hash-rate is all over the place... my graph looks like the Rocky Mountain range lol!  Since going to v5 a few hours ago, I have been bouncing anywhere in between 350 & 450 h/r. But... they do pay out very consistently, which is very important given the volatility of ZEC.

yup, these big h/r increases alone have kept ZEC mining profitable vs ETH.  Even going back to v4 it would probably be close to a toss-up but v6 at least doubles the h/r of v2, or at least that's what it seems like based on early reports. I just started running v5 this morning and went from 65 to 110 on my RX 470s!  While that was amazing it looks like another 30-40 is possible with v6.  Still waiting to see more posts about wattage draw and heat with v6 since i am away from my rig this week but v5 had no increases vs v4 but we will see.  Saw at least 2 people post on the Claymore thread that v6 increased wattage pull by about 10-15W per card, but others have refuted that so who knows.

I'm at 75~80W for about 130 H/s on my RX 470s. For the R9 380, I can't unfortunately tell you since there is not a precise wattmeter included in Afterburner for it.

I'd like to know some things :

-What is the real utility of the intensity ? I checked all : 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4, and what I've found is very minimalistic. No more than 10 H/s of difference and no more than a few watts of consumption. So I went for nothing specified (so 4 according to the automatic text that displays when you open the miner command). Is it a wise choice according to you ?

-What is your pool ? I've been on Flypool for a long time, after a few days passed on Suprnova and Coinmine, that did not satisfied me. I've still not done a complete day on Flypool, but I'll try to do that, to know what's my real earnings there. The problem is that I can't compare to anything else given the numbers going crazily down or high. I wouldn't mind earning 5-10% on Flypool if it is consistent because of the sleek design that I love.

WOW!! CZM 6.0 is awesome!!!
Getting 140S/s+ on my MSI RX470 4GBs Smiley

Sampled v6 on my rigs:

290x at 166-168 H/s - speechless!

R9-390 at 177-180 H/s - OMG!

RX 480 at 140-142 H/s - best improvement since v5.

R9-Nano at 191-194 H/s  - OMG x 100 !

I am really off my seat on the R9-Nanos.

I think the HBM memory on the Nanos and Furys makes a big a difference.

These Nanos are also -100mV BIOS mod already so I dont even touch any AB settings, just install v6 put -i 4 and let it rip!

Citronick, could you remind me what are your 290x settings ?
Because I'm only at 150 per gpu (comparing to your 165/170 range)

For information , my RX470 got 140

this edge will disappear by tomorrow since everybody else update as well (even with constant prices), but dumping will increase, so a dip might ensue as well.
I split my rigs between eth and zec-sometime one has advantage, other time the opposite.
I like the fact that zec used less wattage before, not sure about now.

No settings - ie probably stock, buts its a BIOS modded card.

I didn't even bother with AB because the the 290x is flashed with the almighty Stilt BIOS.

This rig has 2 x 290 and 1 x 290x. Its my test rig but when not in test mode, it joins the farm mining ZEC or whatever the flavor of the month is. I use to tinker with settings with AB but after Stilt bios - I don't bother anymore because its wattage came down a bunch and met my objectives.

Looks like ZCash Classic (ZCL) is starting to be a thing.  It is NOT on Poloniex or Bittrex, yet, though.  No block reward goes to the Devs.  You can mine it at suprnova.

I'll give it a try with my CPUs , since I turned them off of ZEC.  Maybe throw one rig at them too. See what happens.

How do you sell it ?

And now bittrex

yup, these big h/r increases alone have kept ZEC mining profitable vs ETH.

For a day or two while the bulk of folks upgrade, then it's back to the same level more-or-less.

Not to bust any bubbles but the profit will be the same in a little bit as everyone switches over to v6.
