I beleive bitcoin has no competition in an online currency. Because bitcoin has been still on top among altcoins, even altcoins pumped still bitcoin is the main used by many. Its demands has been increasing, as this shows that bitcoin is still leading on top though.

What Bitcoin got is brand. when any government or some organisation want to recognise crypto currency and digital payments they look towards BTC. and this increases the demand and finally the value of BTC

you are right, i am doing affiliate in my past and i use paypal to receive the payment, but after i know bitcoin, i think bitcoin now is one step in front of paypal and bitcoin itself has bright future and i think bitcoin has no competition like the OP said. i think people is using bitcoin is because of simple and easy and we don't need to fill any of document and we don't have to use our credit card so its really save for us.

Compare the users of Paypal to bitcoins and you will get your answer. Paypal is still very popular and enjoy the highest number of users and comparatively bitcoin lacks users base at a moment and when it comes to payment system I think both Paypal and WU are tough competitors to bitcoins.

you are right that there is no other currency in competition with bitcoin because bitcoin is the most popular currency of the online world and because of its popularity and beneficial features there is extend use of bitcoin in many countries with respect to other online currencies.

This years has already proven that altcoins are an amazing option as investment, with amazing results with some interest and manipulation, i remember doge were sleepy at 19 satoshis, and it went into 45 satoshis recently, even being trade at 30-35 satoshis, the fact is altcoins are very easy manipulated and well, if you have some lucky and vision at same time you can make money just holding altcoins and waiting the pump, look at the dash it had amazing week and value 0,10 btc its an amazing result.

How do you distinguished that bitcoin is slow? In the past 2 years bitcoin value in around 300 - 400 dollars, for me the progress of bitcoin is great and not slow and if you invest on the past 2 years i think you feel that you are lucky with bitcoin.
And also i think that bitcoin has a competition because more other coin wanting to go on the top to replace bitcoin but bitcoin will remain number 1 because bitcoin has continuous adopted by more people in the world.

There is a reason why they are called as altcoins, because bitcoin is much more valuable than them, you can check on the marketcap and you compared. With both bitcoin and altcoins marketcap are growing, that is a good indication for success. I believe there is no competition that is going on because they make each other's progress when they co-exist.

Bitcoin actually does not have any competition among the crypto currencies.
All other crypto currencies are far more inferior to bitcoin.
But this does not change the fact that ,
Bitcoins has a lot to achieve even now,

Bitcoin is the only true currency in the digital world and the rest of the coins are mere copy cats trying to over take or the developers just want to make some money in this moment by creating a new coin,other than that there wont be any competition as every alt coin revolves around the price of bitcoin.

Bitcoin technology is tested for several years and it is the first of its kind so bitcoin have larger community and developer supports. In crypto world community support is the main reason for success of coin as this increases market demand. Bitcoin have also gone through several hard situation but soak all those pressure over time very effectively. I also feel same, no any altcoin can dominate crypto market just like bitcoin.

For me there is no really a competition happening regards on bitcoin. Why? because as the day goes by the improvement on bitcoin is surely going for the community to see. Don't agree with that. Bitcoin has competitors. The problem is that most of them chose the wrong way to try to reach Bitcoin.
So far I have not seen any PoS coin reaching a market cap near to the Bitcoin market cap, or at least remain stable in the market for quite a while, and even then people keep choosing the same path to create new cryptos.

Bitcoin is perfect for transactions where traceability is desired, and to some extent, transparency. This is because all Bitcoin transactions are visible on the blockchain. Businesses love this feature of Bitcoin, not to mention that chargebacks are impossible. Bitcoin is very business friendly, and I'm still surprised at how few businesses realize all the benefits that BTC offers. If they're concerned about volality, they can instantly convert the BTC to cash via Coinbase or another service.

I am not using any other crypto currency at the moment, but I don't think any of them will ever overtake bitcoin. Its the standard of all, its like money now, do you see money competing with anything else? I really don't see that. So I feel bitcoin will hold it own in the market and would probably keep growing.

Yes of course Bitcoin has no competition in the virtual currency society. Bitcoin is most accepted crypto currency. Many developed countries like japan Germany work with Bitcoin. It is also accepted in many country in comparison to other crypto currency. Bitcoin's Blockchain technology make it different and popular among other crypto currency. Bitcoin's price is a another factor which makes it unbeatable. Bitcoin is also accepted by many multinational company like Microsoft Amazon etc. These thing show that it has no competition.
