They somehow got the timings right. Bought bitcoins at cheap rate from investors and now the value of bitcoin is rising. It's a win win situation for the investors and team Iconomi. Actually no.  The mining algorithm of Zcash starts with 0 and slowly builds up to 12.5 per block in the first 34 days. Which means, on the first day less than 10000 Zcash will be mined, which can be easily pumped up to above the price of bitcoin, then it will slowly fall over time, until the next halving in 4 years or maybe there will be a few pumps in between because of some publicity and news, but it will never be as high as the first day.


But it's pretty smart of them to start with 0 per block.

But it's not a good investment unless you invest in mining.
