Yeah, and I don't think it makes much sense for them to spend time/money on advertising the future ICN features until they have the features ready- or at least know when they will be ready- for release. It is evident in the ~10 million USD crowdsale that they did a good enough job selling just the idea itself. Now they need to focus on finishing the product before they begin worrying about advertising again.

"Fairness" is in the eyes of the beholder. The PERFORMANCE fund is a strategic fund, which means if it grows too big, the returns will suffer. Therefore to limit participation, the team decided to open it first to the ICO participants. This seemed fair to them, rather than choosing people arbitrarily. If there is still space, I am sure they'll open it up to others as well.

Yes, but the art of manipulation is to cause big movements with small amounts of funds, anyone can move a market with loads of BTC . It's a risky game and minimising your exposure is paramount.

They'd invest anywhere they see a quick profit, I imagine - flexibility is crucial. They would be looking for quick profits from instadumps, large spreads, hype, unexpected news, where ever they see an opportunity.

They could have gone nuts with ZEC over the last few days, there were short term takings to be had all over the place....
