If iconomi team said they have NDAs, then they have. I trust them.
If NDA was with a small exchange, then the exchange would have launched trading much earlier. Small exchanges normally launch trading earlier to earn small profits.
So it must be a NDA with a big exchange, looking for the best time to launch trading

How to ensure they don't just take the fund and disappear? or the fund "stolen"? That happened before to some BTC exchanges...

If you keep the ICNs into your ico.iconomi.net account then you should receive dividends just fine and If you sent the ICNs into your ETH wallet then you should receive them too (as long as you control the private keys of that address) .

Yes,, they are.
But when Polo initially adds the coin, the volume is larger. And slowly, the volume decreases, but Polo doesn't remove these coins. So, there are dissension of coins with volume less than 50 btc.

It would be better if they launch the campaign later when the platform goes live.

If they do publicity now, they cannot use the platform now. They would eventually forget about it, till the platform of funds is launched.  Iconomi team or the investors wouldn't benefit in this way. The only effect would be the increase in ICN/Btc rate.

So the better approach, I think, would be to attract investors for index and performance funds when it will be live.
In this way, we(existing investors) will also benefit. As we would earn from the fees on their investments.

since you are very much eager, you should buzz jani for it. buzz him every hour for it until he gives up and give you the polo and bittrex adding ICN details and what they've agreed. this should be your task. update us every hour about it so we know.

I think the dev team are still busy and finalising their plans. We know tha it just started from launching after the ICO, I hope that next new year we breath a new fresh air and all is fine. A good start for a new year, and for ICN too.

if its possible to received dividends while our ICN on kraken, I would beprobably prefer my ICN to be stored there so its ready to trade whenever there is a change. When are we going to receive out dividends? i haven't see any conformation regarding this from Jani.

ICN is not primarily meant to be tradable instruments.Like other crypto, ICN are moveable but they should be kept to garner dividends
